The new library will feature plenty of room for the collection of library materials, a designated technology center with additional public access to computers, improved children’s area, and meeting room for use by public and private groups. The streetscape will feature new light fixtures along Broad Street, an ornamental clock and sidewalk and street reconstruction. These improvements will also allow the business district to become ADA compliant. The park is located across the street from the site of the new library. New playground equipment is needed to replace the outdated equipment.
