Six major components of the renovation include: adding a new lobby and entrance terrace on the west side of the building; raising the roof over the theatre by four feet to accommodate stage lighting and scenery; improving and expanding the HVAC system; expanding the stage to provide for more wing space; reconfiguring seating for better sight lines for audience members. The addition will house a new set construction shop, new dressing rooms and green room, new Library/Museum to be used for meetings, classes and rehearsals, and larger, handicapped accessible restrooms.
