Ancestors (1) Wm. F. Oliver and Mary Venable (2C) James Wm. Oliver and Mary Dudley, (2C6) Caroline Elizabeth Oliver and James H. C. Barnwell
Charles was born in 1876 (?)
Shown in 1900 census in household of brother in law, William Abernathy and sister Harriett (Barnwell) Sweigeart Abernathy (2C6C) as Charles Swygeart (24) Swygeart.(Sweigart) is the last name of his mother’s second husband.
Because his mother did not marry Milton Sweigeart until 1884, he must be the son of James H. C. Barnwell.
I find no Charles W. Sweigeart (or any similar spelling) in the 1910 Portland, Oregon census. However there is:
Charles F. Sweigart (47) Rena G (44) wife, Charles, Jr. (20) son, Ernest (17) son, William G. (11) son. I cannot find the relationship between the two Charles Sweigart men.
