1st Quarter Project Florida Physical Features Map Due Date: October 9th

Hello Students!

In this project you will first identify how you would like to display your Florida map. I encourage you to be creative! Your map can be done as a diorama, with clay, edible, painting, paper mache, etc. It is important that you use your notebook and other resources to help create and label your map. Your map must include a title (identify the map as physical or political), compass rose, cardinal directions, intermediate directions, symbols, legend, scale, and label all of the physical features listed below:

Physical Features- Lake Okeechobee, Everglades, St. John’s River, Suwannee River, FL Keys

Major Cities- Orlando, St. Augustine, Tampa, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Miami

Oceans- Atlantic Gulf of Mexico

Tourist Attractions- You can pick three
