Dear Parents or Guardians,
Singing and the thrill of singing in a group is what the In Harmony District Children’s choir offers again this fall. The In Harmony District Children’s Choir is made up of students from Schools in the Anglophone East School District, and is under the direction of Mrs. Leanne Delaney and Mr. Mark Lloyd, both music specialists in Anglophone East. The choir will be open to singers from Grades 4 to 8. Rehearsals will take place every Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Riverview Middle School. Transportation to and from rehearsals will be the parents’ responsibility.
Auditions for the choir will be held in the music room at Frank L. Bowser School in Riverview during the week of September 21st to 25th and the week of September 28th to October 2nd between the hours of 3pm and 5 pm. Parents must contact Mrs. Delaney to set up an audition time that suits both parent and child. For the audition, your child must be prepared to sing one of these well-known pieces of music: O Canada or Happy Birthday. Auditions take approximately 7 minutes.
The first choir rehearsal date is scheduled for Wednesday October 7th, 3pm at Riverview Middle School Auditorium in Riverview.
