D is for dedication.
Destination Imagination is an after-school program that is open to Gifted/High Potential students. The students learn to use creative thinking and teamwork to solve problems. The make up of teams depend on available District funding and student interest.
DISCIPLINE POLICY SUMMARY (POLICY #515)
The School Discipline Policy is intended to communicate expectations regarding acceptable conduct in school in order to provide a positive learning environment for all students. The elementary discipline procedures will apply and be consistently enforced at all elementary schools. At the same time, the School Board realized the uniqueness of each building and recognizes that there may be individual building and classroom procedures to implement and supplement District procedures. Please refer to the Student Code of Conduct flier given to each family at Open House or to students the first day of school.
DISCRIMINATION POLICY SUMMARY
It is the policy of the school board of School District #831 to comply with federal and state laws (and all requirements imposed by our pursuant to regulations issued in support of such laws) prohibiting discrimination against any person on the grounds of race, color, natural origin, creed, religion, sex, and marital status, with regard to public assistance, age, or disability.

DRIVING STUDENTS TO SCHOOL
Please drop off your child(ren) at the southeast corner of the building during the designated time of 9:00-9:10 AM. Students should enter door #5 by the playground. NOTE: this door will be locked at 9:15 AM. After 9:15 students should enter through the front door.
DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILD(REN) OFF BEFORE 9:00 AM OR THEY WILL BE PLACED IN SAC AND A FEE WILL BE ASSESSED.
