In 1820, he and his wife were 26-45 years old and lived in Murderkill Hundred, Kent County, Delaware and they had 1 son under 10 years of age and 2 daughters 10-26 years of age. On April 1824, Thomas B. Cavender deeded to his son, Thomas B. Cavender, Jr., 40 acres of land in Miami County, Ohio. DB 5, p 148 He also deeded to William Cavender 40 acres of land in the same section, which land was later sold by William Cavender and his wife, Elizabeth Cavender on November 20, 1828 to Thomas Buck. Thomas B. Cavender ("Thomas Cavender") and Nancy Cavender had 7 children:

NANCY CAVENDER was born October 9, 1799 in Kent County, Maryland, married David Furrow in Miami County, Ohio on February 29, 1821, died November 18, 1884 in Pilot Grove Township, Hancock County, Illinois and is buried in the McKays Cemetery in Burnside, Hancock County, Illinois. David Furrow was born June 15 or 16, 1798 in Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Virginia, was the son of Adam Furrow and grandson of John Furrow and Mary Elizabeth Grimes ("Mary Grimes"), and later removed to Hancock County, Illinois about 1854 and became a Methodist minister and farmer, died March 14, 1880 in Pilot Grove Township, Hancock County, Illinois, and is buried in the McKays Cemetery in Burnside, Hancock County, Illinois.
