International Candlepin Youth Bowling Association Dear Business Owner/Manager

Dear Business Owner/Manager:

     The International Candlepin Youth Bowling Association (ICYBA) is a nonprofit organization which was formed in 1991 to help raise money for youth participation in local, state and international bowling tournaments. Each year, the bowlers hold many fundraising events to help pay for their tournaments, but these alone are not enough. The ICYBA also asks local businesses, such as yours, to help by becoming an ICYBA sponsor. Any business that contributes $25 or more to our association will have their name posted on a large sponsor board which will be displayed at Academy Lanes in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

     This group has had great success in past tournaments, including both Massachusetts State Champions and International Champions. There are currently three tournaments scheduled for the 2017–2018 season. The first is the ICBA Youth Candlepin Championship, held in November in Portsmouth, NH. The second event is the Atlantic Coast Junior Bowling Classic, held in Nova Scotia, Canada. Last year we had nearly 50 bowlers participate in this event. The final event is the Massachusetts State Youth Bowling Championships, held in April formerly at Pilgrim Lanes in Haverhill, MA.

 
     It is through the generosity of local businesses that all of these kids get to participate in these tournaments. Sponsorship can be in any amount. All donations are tax deductible.

     If you cannot make a monetary donation, the ICYBA also accepts donations of merchandise and/or gift certificates that will be used for one of our many fundraising events.      We fully appreciate any and all donations made to this youth organization. Without the help and generosity of, businesses, companies, individuals and other groups who show their support for us by making donations, our trips would not be possible. Therefore, we will put an advertisement up for each business that makes a donation in the Academy Lanes lobby so that people may view them and know you support our organization, encouraging those who view it to patronize those businesses. Businesses who donate will receive different sized advertisements based on the amount of their donation (A page is one 8 ½ X 11 inch piece of paper):
