Intern Position: Exercise Health Science Intern, full-time
Internship Responsibilities

Assist with coaching wheelchair soccer and track and field programs

Assist with development and implementation sport, recreation and health education programs for youth with physical disability at BlazeSports Summer Camp

Develop and implement muscle conditioning and flexibility programs for athletes with disabilities

Participate in the coordination and implementation of special events and competitions

Collaboration with key BlazeSports staff and community partners from other disciplines (parks and recreation, healthcare, public health, dietetics, public policy, communications, etc.)
Length of Internship: March 2008 – June 2008, full-time

Interns with BlazeSports America should be at least 18 years old and be pursuing their degree in Exercise Health Science, Sports Management, Public Relations, Marketing, Therapeutic Recreation, Adapted PE, Dietetics, Public Health or a related field.
