Blog

A blog is defined by Scott (2015) as a production form that involves a discussion or informational website, which is usually published in the internet. Galliers (2018) further points out that it involves posts, which are displayed in reverse chronological order with the aim of ensuring that the most recent posts appear at the top of the web page. Most blogs usually touch on specific topics, such as one’s personal encounter with something that he/she considers important and worth sharing, political views, and business ideas, among others. In addition, they are usually informative and are developed with the purpose of ensuring that the target audience is able to get insights concerning the blogger’s point of view in relation to a specific topic, as well as significant experiences that he/she may have gone through.
