August 14, 2017--Atlantic singer-songwriter Molly Kate Kestner today announced a fall tour supporting Phoebe Ryan. Kicking off on Halloween in Philadelphia, PA, the tour sees Kestner and Ryan making stops at notable venues coast-to-coast, from Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg to Los Angeles’ Echoplex.
The tour comes on the heels of the release of Kestner’s fifth track “Compromise,” an upbeat, empowering anthem about following your dreams. “Compromise” follows Kestner’s previous releases “I Don’t Know,” “Good Die Young,” “Prom Queen,” and the Ryan Tedder-produced “It’s You.”
Kestner caught the world’s attention in 2014 while still in high school, when a home video of her original song “His Daughter” went viral on YouTube, reaching over 7 million views in just a few weeks. To date, the song has reached 15.7 million views on YouTube, over 10 million streams and sold more than 126k singles in the US alone.
After making the move from Minnesota to Los Angeles just last year, 21-year-old Kestner has been working on new material for herself and other established artists, including Kelly Clarkson. So far, this year has seen Kestner playing a residency at LA’s iconic Hotel Café, touring with fellow singer-songwriter Wrabel, and working on new music with producers including Ryan Tedder and Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Marina and the Diamonds, Clean Bandit).
