I’m going to change a solid to liquid using ice to change it to water and record
how many minutes it will take Hypothesis: My hypothesis in this experiment is very easy and very simple which is when we apply heat to the ice it will transform into liquid
Materials: 1- Ice
2- 250 ml beaker
3- Salt
4- Spoon
5-
Bunsen burner 6- Thermometer
7- Lighter
8- Paper
9- pen
Procedures:
1- take the
beaker and fill it with ice 2- add 1 spoon of salt to stable the temperature for recording
3- place the beaker on Bunsen burner
4- using the lighter
ignite the Bunsen burner 5- record the temperature each 30 second
Data Recording:
1- first temperature is -8
Celsius 2- 30 s the temperature is -2 Celsius
3- 1 min temperature is -4 Celsius
4- 1:30 min temperature is -6 Celsius
5- 2 mim temperature is -2 Celsius
6- 2:30 temperature is 2 Celsius
7- 3 min temperature is 14 Celsius
8- 3:30 min temperature is 20 Celsius
Conclusion: using Bunsen burner it take the ic a total of 2:30 minutes to drop from -8 Celsius to 2
Celsius and form liquid
