Duties: The Senior Project Officer is accountable to the Regional Coordinator. S/he will report to the Regional Coordinator in regards to the coordination and delivery of projects/programs and quality assurance including recording statistics and preparing reports as required. The Senior Project role will provide support on the RAHU Staff on day to day administration and coordination of projects/programs. The senior Project Officer will liaise with the Regional Aboriginal Health Unit Staff and the Aboriginal Community in relation to the development and implementation of primary health care projects/programs from that site. The Senior Project Officer will also assist the Regional Coordinator to plan services based on the communities health needs and evaluate them. The Senior Project Officer will assist the Regional Coordinator in developing relevant partnerships within ACCHS sites and other agencies to support and extend services for the Aboriginal community.
