**We have been invited to the dress rehearsal of Leonia High School Summer Stage on Wednesday, July 18th at 8 p.m. Call Marion at (201) 302-9660 if you are interested in attending this ‘free’ program so that we may inform the High School of the number of people planning to attend. We will be utilizing our Senior bus for those unable to get there on their own. Please call to make your reservation. OUT ON THE TOWN CAESARS, ATLANTIC CITY WEDNESDAY, JULY 11 Come along for some sun, fun, a walk on the Boardwalk or shopping at the Outlets a block away from Caesars, as well as on the Pier if you’re so inclined. Cost of trip – $30.00 (yes, you read correctly – we’re lowering the price by $5. for this trip). Slot play bonus - $25.00. EMPIRE CLUB ‘HAWAIIAN COOKOUT’ THURSDAY, JULY 12 Music and dancing with Peter Lieberman. Menu as follows: Rigatoni with Sun Dried Tomatoes, Salad, Chateaubriand, Chicken Piccata, Baked Tilapia in Mango Salsa, dessert and unlimited beer, wine and soda. Cost – $29.00. Transportation to be announced. ANNUAL TRIP TO SPRING LAKE (Several seats are still available) WEDNESDAY, JULY 18 Join us for our annual trip to the Jersey shore. Weather permitting, we will spend an hour on the Boardwalk, lunch at the Mill at Spring Lake Heights. Choice of menu: Pub Steak (thick cut 8oz. NY strip), French style Chicken Breast, Honey Roasted Salmon. Following lunch, we will stroll along First Avenue enjoying the quaint shops in Spring Lake. Our final stop is at Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck. Cost of trip - $50.00. Bus pick-up from Leonia Recreation at 9 a.m. Return to Leonia approximately 6 p.m. When signing up, don’t forget to select your entrée. WESTCHESTER BROADWAY THEATRE PERFORMANCE ‘THE MUSIC MAN’ THURSDAY, JULY 26 WAIT LIST ONLY! We will be joining the Tenafly Senior Center for ‘The Music Man’ performance at the Westchester Dinner Theatre in Elmsford, New York. Cost – $70.00. Bus pick-up from Leonia Recreation at 9:30 a.m. MONET’S GARDEN AT THE NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1 WAIT LIST ONLY! Special exhibition for art and nature lovers. $69.00 trip fee includes admission fee, 3-course lunch in the Garden Café & tram ride. Bus pick-up from Leonia Recreation at 9:15 a.m. SHOWBOAT, ATLANTIC CITY WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 8 Come along for some sun, try you luck in the casino, a walk on the Boardwalk or a visit to Atlantic City’s new casino ‘Revel’ (next to Showboat).
