Bus pick-up from Leonia Recreation – 9 a.m. BERGEN COUNTY’S ANNUAL SENIOR CITIZENS PICNIC (RAIN DATE SEPTEMBER 21) TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 Seniors age 60+ are invited to enjoy a picnic in the park, complimentary box lunch, entertainment and information tables. Our Senior bus will provide transportation for those wishing to go or you may drive yourself. Itinerary is as follows: Great Falls State Park, a national historic landmark, the Paterson Museum, Lambert Castle (home and showplace of silk manufacturer Catholina Lambert), historic Botto House (home of Italian immigrant silk workers – Maria & Pietro Botto), and a three-course lunch at La Neve’s Restaurant in Haledon. Bus pick-up from Leonia Recreation – 9 a.m. NORMAN ROCKWELL MUSEUM MONDAY, OCTOBER 4 A day in Stockbridge, Massachusetts visiting the Norman Rockwell Museum for a guided tour of his collection. Lunch at the Red Lion Inn which has been welcoming travelers to the Berkshires for more than two centuries. Cost of trip - $79.00.
