The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)

What WAI Do

The W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) brings together people and organizations from around the world to develop guidelines and resources to help make the Web accessible to people with disabilities.

Why Web Accessibility Matters

The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities recognizes access to information and communications technologies as a basic human right. Web Accessibility enables equal access and equal opportunity to people of all abilities.
