Title of Position: Manager of Data & Evaluation Reporting Supervisor: Chief Program Officer Work week/ hours: Varies with normal hours being between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
Job Summary:The Manager of Data, Outcomes & Program Evaluation will provide and establish key metrics to show stakeholders and senior leadership measurable outcomes of the programs that the YWCA implements. The position will not only work to research and select the appropriate system for the YWCA’s needs but will train and impart on staff the importance of a metric-driven culture. Through strong analytical skills and an attention to detail, and in partnership with the Chief Program Officer, the Manager will establish relevant metrics and continuously audit the system to ensure data integrity.
Position Qualifications: Desired Education: Master Degree preferred with at least 2 years of data & evaluation experience in a non-profit setting working with youth and young adults.
Minimum
Experience required: Bachelor Degree with at least 3 years of data & evaluation experience in a non-profit setting working with youth and young adults.
Desired: Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong computer skills and experience with data entry systems such as LACES, Apricot and Excel. Proficient in MS Office, especially excel data entry & formatting. Knowledgeable of standard office equipment; organized and exceptional clerical and basic office management skills.

Essential Responsibilities: Program Data Collection and Reporting
Train staff on data entry and ensure accuracy of programmatic data organization-wide, including learner demographic/contact info, attendance, assessments, goals and achievements.
Work with program managers to ensure that student surveys are being conducting and enter data in a timely manner.
Direct student and graduate data follow-up
Create a monthly dashboard of key performance indicator’s to reflect progress towards goals and to inform decisions about service delivery. Ensure dissemination to all relevant audiences (staff, Leadership team and Board)
Work with Chief Program Officer, Directors and Managers to develop tools that collect and provide relevant data for programs.
Support Chief Program Officer in preparing monthly, quarterly and bi-annual reports (including OSSE Monitoring Report, DOES, etc.)
Provide programmatic data for grant proposals and reports, including OSSE, DOES, Foundation and Corporate grants.
Analyze program goals and objectives relative to outcomes for the purpose of creating new programs and expanding existing ones, increasing the organizations’ reach within its target market.
Identify and collaborate with senior leadership on relevant outcomes to measure success and areas for improvement on programs.
Identify and understand measurement approaches and specific key indicators by each individual program.
Assess available metric program evaluation systems and tools and select the best available system based on the needs of the YWCA.
Assist in securing new and additional funding by providing tangible metric outcomes to engage key funders and show quantitative impact.
Implement an outcome system to measure regional, state and local participation in national efforts.
Partner with program managers and senior leadership to ensure that all data is entered in the system to measure outcomes.
Provide consistent and quality training, both through programs and a manual/process handbook to YWCA staff and others as necessary to ensure proper usage of the data system.
Regularly audit the system to ensure the integrity of the data and metrics to drive the success of the YWCA’s programs and mission.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a data management role preferably in the non-profit sector;
Outstanding computer skills and the ability to learn and train new systems quickly;
Strong analytical skills to ensure that data is manipulated in the appropriate manner to drive results;
Strong attention to detail and organization skills, ability to prioritize and excellent problem solving skills;
Must be highly self-motivated and demonstrate ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a deadline driven environment.
Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 10 lbs. Requires the ability to travel locally, regionally and nationally; national travel less than 20%.
