Teaching Methods




Objectives of the Course

To enable the learners to comprehend the knowledge of Turkish language form and use the punctuation appropriately, to foster the learning of elements of sentence and the use of them, to teach the skills of writing and speaking without using expression disorders, to teach the skill of making presentations, to teach the skills of reading academic papers and taking notes. At the end of the course the learner;


Learning Outcomes

1) Comes to the terms with the structure of Turkish language and uses punctuation properly.





2) Gets the habit of reading books, follows the newspapers and magazines.





3) Speaks Turkish in an appropriate way, has the ability to express himself well.





4) Becomes capable of making presentations, can express his ideas and knowledge comprehensibly.





5) Uses dictionaries and spelling dictionaries






6) Knows the terminology of the internet and computers.







7) Knows the Turkish equivalents of the foreign words that are commonly used around him.





8) Uses Turkish language according to the “thesis writing rules” (undergraduate, graduate and post graduate).






9) Has the skill to read and take notes out of literary and scientific texts.

Knowledge of the form of the Turkish language, elements and types of sentences, expression disorders , punctuation, presentation, poetry, essay, composition, article, newspaper and magazine studies and applications.
