Design and evaluate a component and create CNC machining data suitable for a variety of CNC manufacture

Explain how a structural analysis using FEM (Finite Element Method for Structural Analysis) is undertaken

Perform a basic structural analysis using FEM (Finite Element Method for Structural Analysis)

Explain the function of aerodynamic analysis using CFD (Computational Flow Dynamics)

Examine and Explore an aerodynamic analysis using CFD (Computational Flow Dynamics)

Identify a range of rapid prototyping manufacturing processes

Evaluate and select the most appropriate rapid prototyping method for a range of design applications

Explain the basics of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in industry
