Duties: The Physiotherapist is accountable through the Senior Physiotherapist heading the work unit to which he/she is rostered, to the Director of Pharmacy for the provision of physiotherapy services. This results in improved clinical outcomes for patients of FMC. The incumbent undertakes a clinical workload providing physiotherapy services to an allocated area (ward or group of wards) or team under the direction of a Senior Physiotherapist, on a rotation roster (3 6 months). The physiotherapist is responsible for the assessment and management of patients which results in improved patient care and outcomes.
