Duties: Professionally and functionally responsible to the Director of the Child Protection Service, Flinders Medical Centre. In conjunction with other members of the Child Protection Service, to provide a clinical therapeutic assessment service and other interventions to infants, children and adolescents and their families and the care of child abuse and neglect. In the case of the Clinical Psychologist, this involves the use of individual and family assessment techniques (including standardised tests). Assist in the ongoing development of the Child Protection Service within a multidisciplinary team.
Essential Minimum Qualifications: Clinical Psychologist Position: A Masters Degree in Clinical or Applied Psychology and registration under the provision of the Psychology Practices Act, 1973. Senior Social Worker Position: An appropriate degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification approved by the Commissioner for public employment.
Special Conditions: Some out of hours work may be required. A current driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential. Some country travel is required. May be required to have a health assessment.

Duties: Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of Manual Handling programs and service, including an effective coaching program, as are necessary for injury prevention and to promote the health, safety and welfare of employees. This will include education and training in back care and safe manual handling techniques for all employees. It will also include training with regard to employer/employee responsibilities and duties in complying with Manual Handling Regulations and Codes of Practice, monitoring of hazard identification, evaluation and control measures and advice on the modification of work environments and work practices to ensure safe manual handling.

Special Conditions: A permanent appointment at the conclusion of the temporary contract may be offered without further advertising.
