Game:

  • Have a drill on describing words.

  • Form two groups with 5 members. Let them stand in column.

  • The first to read would move one step forward.

  • The first group to reach the finish line wins the game.



Activity (10 mins.)


  1. Group Game

  • Group the pupils into 3. Give each group a box containing metastrips with pair of words. Let the pupils classify the pair of words whether the words have the same meaning (synonyms) or opposite meaning (antonyms) by pasting the metastrips on the the chart.
