WORKING CONDITIONS AND EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE OF BDO

The first master theme describes the vision of the participants in their desired workplaces. The responses mainly focus on the quality of the environment and the professionalism and comfort of the area , also the coworkers are expected to be professional and respectful.
“My expectation from a workplace is dapat professional environment and
professional rin mga kasama mo, which naprovide naman ni BDO.” (My expectation
from a workplace is that the workplace is supposed to have a professional environment
and professional workers, which BDO was able to provide) (Participant 1)”
“Gusto ko comfortable, pagdating sa banko formal ang aming environment and
professionalism is important and hindi dapat maingay.”
Translation: I want it comfortable, the bank has a very formal environment and
professionalism is important and the workplace should not be noisy.””(Participant 2)
A related literature of this research from (Anastasios and Chatzoglou 2019) which focuses on the psychosocial environment of workplaces says that employees tend to work better when the factors in the environment match their standards. As said in the results our participants recommend professional quiet and comfortable environments which are also included in the related study.
