ABOUT THE ATLANTA HOCKEY FOUNDATION

The AAHL Foundation, Inc., a/k/a The Atlanta Hockey Foundation, is a non-profit 501c3 foundation established in 2004 to help current and former Atlanta Amateur Hockey League (AAHL) players and their families during times of need. The AAHL is the largest adult recreational ice hockey league in Atlanta and one of the largest in the U.S. with over 1200 active players.
The mission of the Atlanta Hockey Foundation is to address the hardships of our players and their families in need in a variety of ways. The Atlanta Hockey Foundation will provide Scholarship Funds, Essential Living Assistance or Help with Household Responsibilities to families of deceased, ill or injured AAHL players.
The Atlanta Hockey Foundation is funded through donations from the players as well as through other donations and contributions and various events held throughout the year. The Foundation also partners with various local businesses that are committed to supporting the Foundation through joint events and the Annual Golf tournament. The Annual Atlanta Hockey Foundation Golf Tournament is the Foundation’s largest fund-raiser event each year and has quickly become a favorite among the players and their friends.
