To encourage Young Scientists, Institute of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (IBCB) has instituted Allam Appa Rao Interdisciplinary Young Researcher Award. The award carry Rs 10,000/- besides Certificate of Merit. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals who made significant contributions in the fields of Computer Science, Bioinformatics. The upper age limit of the candidates for the award is 38 years as reckoned on 31^st December 2016

The final selection for the Award will be made by a duly constituted committee and the award will be presented during the International Conference on “Cognitive Science and Health Bioinformatics” to be held on 24-25, December 2016.
