1 These watersheds cover a total of 6,570 km2. In descending order of size, they are: Muriaé (378,423 ha), Macabu (110,890 ha), Imbé (93,659 ha), Coastal watersheds around “Mata do Carvão” (39,765 ha), and Doce (34,219 ha).
