The College of Global Studies is one of three Colleges and three Schools which constitute Arcadia University: The College of Global Studies, The College of Arts & Sciences, The College of Health Sciences, The School of Global Business, The School of Education and The School of Continuing Studies. Arcadia has been a leader in study abroad for over 65 years and in 2009, its existing Center for Education Abroad was elevated to College status, thereby creating The College of Global Studies. Institute for Study Abroad-Butler University (IFSA-Butler)
The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University (IFSA-Butler) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1988. Our primary goal is to provide quality study abroad opportunities, plus academic and personal support services, for qualified North American undergraduates seeking to earn academic credit through study abroad. While the Institute for Study Abroad has an affiliation with Butler University for transcripts and other purposes, it is a separate organization. IFSA-Butler is organized to assist our students from the time they apply until after they return. Our staff in the U.S. prepare students for the academic and cultural changes that await them, and our offices around the world provide on-site support to help students make the most of their study abroad experiences.

International Service Learning (ISL)
Our mission is to support cultural awareness, service-based learning, and sustainable development projects through experiential and responsible volunteer travel programs that inspire local and global service.
As an educational organization, ISL seeks to accomplish our mission by partnering volunteers and professionals from developed countries with service opportunities in developing countries. These opportunities are offered on a contractual basis to educational institutions, organizations and to individual volunteers. The resulting financial resources are used to fund teams serving in Central and South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Africa.
