Your SAPHE system comprises the following components which have been installed in your home. Note: not all users may have all items.
When your system is installed, the components will be explained to you. This User Guide is intended to work as a reminder of what you have been told. Please make sure you ask any questions: it is most important that you feel comfortable about the system (Will need to revise this as installers unlikely to cover.)
This BT Broadband Home Hub is connected to the new telephone line that has been installed for the SAPHE trial. This allows data from the SAPHE system in your home to be communicated back to your Community Matron.
The BT Broadband Home Hub is plugged into a mains socket. Please leave the Home Hub powered on at all times.
No interaction is required with the Home Hub.
The SAPHE Set-Top Box collects all the information from the SAPHE sensors in the home and sends them back to your Community Matron. The Set-Top Box also enables you to see information from the SAPHE system on your television (or separately provided SAPHE television screen).
The SAPHE Set-Top Box is plugged into a mains socket. Please leave the Set-Top Box powered on at all times.
