Tbilisi, 04 April ’04, Inter-Press. - The Labor Party of Georgia protests over the results of 72 precinct election commission out of 75. The party has filed complaints at the Circuit Court against representatives of the PEC and DEC administrations and demands ballot recount. Representative of the party Badri Niauri told Inter-Press that they are informed that the votes for Labor Party were annulled in favor of the National Movement-Democrats ruling party through ballot manipulating. Kutaisi and Tbilisi District Courts will hear the complaints.
CEC OF GEORGIA STARTED EXAMINATION OF CLAIMS RELATED TO OFFENCES AT THE VOTE AT PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS OF MARCH 28

FINAL RESULTS OF THE PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS WILL BE PROMULGATED AFTER REPEATING ELECTIONS IN ADJARA
Tbilisi. 05 April’04, Sakinformi. - Final results of the parliamentary elections will be promulgated after the repeating elections in Kobuleti and Khulo regions of Adjara, which will be held on April 18, - declared the Public Relations Manager of the Central Elections Committee of Georgia Givi Ordenidze. Thus, the final results of the parliamentary elections will be promulgated on April 25, after which the President of Georgia will appoint the date of the first Parliament session. Results of elections on two electoral districts of Adjara were annulled by CEC of Georgia due to wide-scaled violations, which affected on the results.
RESULTS OF PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS ANNULLED IN INVESTIGATIVE JAIL NO. 5
Tbilisi. 05 April ‘04, Black Sea Press. - Results of Parliamentary elections of March 28 were annulled in investigative jail No. 5 of department for punishments of Justice Ministry under resolution of Tbilisi Mtatsminda-Krtsanisi district election commission. 1011 prisoners were included in the lists presented in the commission, while names of extra 1009 prisoners under investigation appeared in the additional lists on March 28. The commission suspected that the number was too large, and representatives of department for punishments agreed with the opinion.
BOLNISI COURT PARTIALLY SATISFIED ACTION OF ASSOCIATION OF YOUNG LAWYERS
TBILISI. 5 April’04. CAUCASUS PRESS. - Bolnisi regional court satisfied partially action of the Association of Young Lawyers and did not acknowledged invalid parliamentary elections in Bolnisi election district. Court commissioned to re-consider the application on violations during the elections and made the corresponding decision. Members of the district commission stated at court that action of the Association of Young Lawyers was groundless.
RIGHT-WING BLOC INDUSTRIALISTS - RIGHTS TO APPEAL AGAINST RESULTS OF THE VOTE AT PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN KVEMO KARTLI
Tbilisi, 02 April ‘04, Black Sea Press. - Bloc Right-Wing Opposition: Industrialists - Rights led by Davit Gamkrelidze and Gogi Topadze plans to appeal against results of Parliamentary elections under proportional system in some districts in Kvemo Kartli. As Giorgi Chakhnashili, member of Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia from the Party New Rights told Black Sea Press, some district commissions passed “illegal resolutions”. The commissions annulled results of the vote at some polling stations where offences were fixed. The New Rights declared that the bloc was supported by the largest number of the voters there namely, by 1,800 votes in Gardabani and by 1,050 - in Tkibuli, in particular. Bloc Right-Wing Opposition: Industrialists - Rights plans to appeal in CEC and suit in Tbilisi regional court against results of the vote in Marneuli, Gori and Gardabani and to suit in Kutaisi regional court against results in Tkibuli and Bagdadi
BALLOT PAPERS DELIVERED TO KODORI
Tbilisi, 02 April’04, Caucasus Press. - Ballot papers have been delivered to the Kodori Valley of Georgia today. Kodori Governor's Office told Caucasus Press that 1500 voters will take part in elections in the region. The CEC has prolonged voting term in Kodori until April 6, since the region had been inaccessible until this time due to weather conditions.
SECONDARY ELECTIONS OF MAJORITY DEPUTY IN CHIATURA WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 9
Tbilisi, 02 April ‘04. Caucasus Press. - According to the decision of CEC, the elections of a majority deputy in Chiatura election district will be held on April 9. The elections on March 28 in Chiatura were acknowledged invalid because of low activity of the electors. Only one-third of electors came to the election district. Five candidates will struggle for the right to be in the parliament - Iosif Chumburidze (National Movement-Democrats), Sergo Yakobidze (independent), Tengiz Motsradze (independent), Teimuraz Gvalia, Avtandil Tskahdashvili.
RESULTS OF ELECTIONS HAVE BEEN ABOLISHED AT 29 ELECTION CONSTITUENCIES
TBILISI. CAUCASUS PRESS. 04-01-04. Results of the parliamentary elections on March 28 have been abolished because of violations at 29 election constituencies. As one of the leaders of the Michael Machavariani has stated at the briefing today, such decision has been made today at the sitting of district commissions. He has disproved accusations of the bloc of the wish of authorities to abolish results of the elections in the regions where the bloc got the greatest number of votes. we have lost 17 260 votes because of abolition of results of the elections, the right wing lost only 3 600 votes>, Machavariani stated. According to him, such authoritative organisations as OSCE, the , the Young Lawyers Association and others reported on violations at those constituencies. , Machavariani said. He said that at many constituencies where violations were observed results of the elections were not abolished as representatives of opposition were against it. These district commission comprised majority of them.
