*SOMALIA :  Capital: MOGADISHU  - PHASE V
PHASE III: is in effect for the city of Hargeisa and the two major road corridors of Hargeisa to Mandera and Hargeisa to Gebiley in the northwest region of Somalia.
PHASE IV: is in effect for the entire country except the areas mentioned under Phase Five and Phase Three.
PHASE V: is in effect in Mogadishu and the city of Kismayo and an area delineated along the Western border with Kenya, from the tri-border junction at Mandera in the North, south to the Indian Ocean to include the district of Badhade and running 20 kilometres inland and parallel to the border with Kenya.
All travel to Somalia must be through Nairobi for security briefings and security clearance. This should be arranged by the sponsoring Somalia based agency. The security situation is volatile and visits away from the towns of Berbera, Bossaso and Hargeisa may need to be supported by a UN Security Officer, this should be discussed with FSCO (254-20-4448433) before travelling. All visitors must report to the appropriate UN Zone Security Officer on arrival in Somalia.
No security clearance will be granted for direct travel to Somalia. All visits are mounted from Nairobi and travellers are to obtain appropriate clearances for Kenya. SRI LANKA :  Capital: COLOMBO  - PHASE I

Caution should be exercised while traveling near the Thai-Cambodian border because of widespread presence of landmines, especially along any uncontrolled/ unguarded area in the immediate vicinity of the border. Advice may be sought from the border officials before driving on any roads within 10kms of the border. TRINIDAD & TOBAGO :  Capital: PORT OF SPAIN  - NO PHASE
Besides Laventille, Morvant and the Down Town area especially during night, the Maloney, La Horquetta, the Lady Young Road as well as the Beetham Highway between the light house and Courts Mega Furniture Store, should be considered as dangerous areas and avoided. Only official taxis should be used. Taxis authorized to pick up passengers will have the letter “H” as the first letter of the vehicles license plate, these cars as well as those available at major hotels are regularly safe. When traveling in a vehicle, it is better to keep the windows closed and the doors locked in order to minimize the possibility of having any valuables snatched from the wrist or packages taken from within the vehicle. In general, night travel should be avoided except when on major highways. Due to the existing criminal activity, staff members should provide their contact information to their Agency while in the duty station even when exercising personal travel. Please note that the Regional FSCO for Trinidad and Tobago, Mr. Guido Caamano, is based in Venezuela.
