KIRAN Hi Anil. It is Kiran. ANIL Hi Kiran. Kaisi ho tum? Romantic music plays. Kiran talks to Anil inside music. They go out after practice. Then he drops her to her apartment. Kiran starts meeting Anil “coincidentally” everywhere. They meet in a restaurant, in a loo, at a parking lot. Once at swimming pool where she is wearing bikini and turns her sex appeal on. Sensual music plays. Kiran hugs, kisses and caresses him. They depart. Kiran meets the suspense woman and shows her some photos and maps. CUT-TO: INT. DAY - STEVENS’S OFFICE Stevens is sipping tea. Unrecognized woman walks in. We cannot see her face. Her voice is unrecognizable. STEVENS (ushering her towards chair.) Andar aaiye.

Thank you. She opens briefcase and sees money. We see her face for the first time. Unrecognized woman is Anita, Chief of Women’s Cricket Association. BG sound plays: ”Anitaaah! Ohh No!” Anita shuts the briefcase. ANITA Thik hai to ab main chalati hoon. Koi aur kaam ho to mujh se phir kahiyega. STEVENS Zarur kahunga. Thank you miss Anita. ANITA Ok Mr Stevens. Have a nice day. STEVENS Have a nice day Miss Anita. She walks out. Background sound plays: “Oh No! Anitaaah!” EXT. DAY - ROAD Sanjit is going somewhere in car with Aarati. AARATI Sanjit tumhara yeh niyamo ka natak aur kitane dino tak chalane wala hai? SANJIT Bas ek hafta aur. Usake baad hum azad panchhiyo ki tarah (Spreading arms.) khule aasman ki sair karenge darling. (Almost loses control of steering wheel and it scares him) Oh shit! (gains back control over the wheel and turns car in right direction.) AARATI (angrily.) Sanjit you...pahele zamin ki sair karana to sikh lo.
Upar se has rahe ho? SANJIT I am sorry darling. Now relax! Sanjit whistles and looks out of window. Sees coach Singh’s car. SANJIT (to self) Oh no. Yeh to coach ki car hai. Yeh buddha yahan kya kar raha hai?
(worried.) Coach? Usane hume dekh liya to?
To mujhe (cupping hands.) catch kar lega. (Again loses control of car.) Shit! AARATI Sanjit you jackass! Shayad kisi na kisi tarah aaj meri maut hone wali hai. SANJIT (gains back control and looking in front.) Abhi tak to nahi hui hai na?
To kya hone tak intezar karoon? IN COACH’S CAR Coach sees Sanjit’s car. COACH (thinking.) Are yeh to Sanjit ki car hai.
(angrily.) Sanjit! Yeh kya kar rahe ho?
Maine kya kiya? Sanjit turns in a street. Now Sanjit and Coach cannot see each other’s cars. Coach’s car turns in same street. Sunil sees coach’s car in rear view mirror. He races car and crashes in one street vendor’s cart. SANJIT (shouts.) Oh shit!
(screams in fear.) Aaaaaaaah!
Andhe kahin ke. Mera dhanda chaupat kar diya. Yeh sadak tere baap ki nahi hai. AARATI (to Sanjit.) Sanjit gadi roko!
Sanjit maine kaha gadi roko! Behind them- Coach is trying to find way out of destruction. Sanjit is turning his car and speeds and dodges many cars. Drivers and pedestrians hurl insults at Sanjit. AT SAME TIME - IN COACH’S CAR COACH (thinking.) Sanjit ki car nahi dikh rahi hai. Abhi abhi to yahi thi.
Sanjit gadi dhimi karo. Mujhe itani jaldi nahi marana hai? SANJIT Coach ne mujhe tumhare sath dekh liya to team se bahar kar denge Aarati. Aisa karo tum seatbelt bandh lo. Main gadi aur tez kar raha hoon. AARATI (wearing seatbelt and saying irritably.) Kya? Bahar karate hain to karane do. Duniya se bahar jane se to achha hai.
Please is wakt mujh se bahas mat karo Aarati. Sanjit loses control over car and ends up pushing two cars off-road. Cars slide, jump and roll. AARATI (screaming and shouting.) Aaaaaaaah! Yeh kya kar diya tumane? Mujhe bahot dar lag raha hai Sanjit. Abhi ke abhi gadi rok do!
(lovingly.) Dear yahan par No Parking ki sign hai.
(sternly.) Abhi isi wakt gadi roko Sanjit!
(looking behind and saying loudly.) Nahi rok sakata. Dat kar baitho.
(angrily.) Tch tch tch. Shayad yahan par bahot bada hadasa hua hai. Malum nahi subah subah kis ka munh dekha tha jo yeh din dekhana pad raha hai.

Baal baal bach gaya. Yeh jagah thik nahi hai. Mere sath koi hadasa ho usase pahele yahan se chalata hoon. Drives. AT SAME TIME - IN SUNIL’S CAR Aarati opens door of car. SANJIT Yeh kya kar rahi ho Aarati? Car ab bhi chal rahi hai. AARATI Aur mere tin ginane tak nahi roki to main car se kud jaungi. SANJIT Aisa nahi karo Aarati. Please darwaza band kar do. Itani bhi kya jaldi hai marane ki? Aur phir hume kuchh hua to nahi hai na? AARATI To kuchh hone ka intezar kar rahe ho kya? Gadi roko. AT SAME TIME - IN COACH'S CAR COACH (looking in front and hearing screeching cars.) Shayad kisi ka brake fail ho gaya hai. Sanjit ko batata hoon. Bechara kahin koi accident me na fas jaye.
Tumane suna nahi maine kya kaha? SANJIT Thik hai thik hai. Rokata hoon. Aarati lets go of door and sits back easy. Sanjit continues. SANJIT Lekin parking spot milane ke baad. Sanjit discreetly speeds more. It scares Aarati and throws her back in her seat. AARATI Sanjit you ass****. Sanjit’s phone rings. SANJIT Phone ko bhi isi wakt bajana tha. Please dekho kaun hai. AARATI Yamadut hoga. Khud hi baat kar lo. Sanjit looks at phone once and then hurriedly looks in front and sees a woman pushing a baby in baby stroller. He can’t stop. Woman runs away. Sanjit crashes in stroller. Stroller goes tossing in air. Aarati screams, shuts eyes and cries. AARATI Yeh kya kar diya tumane? Bachhe ko... Sanjit and Aarati look behind and see some grocery flying from the stroller. The woman is cursing them. Both feel relieved. AARATI Thank god! Mujhe laga anadar bachha tha. SANJIT Mujhe bhi. Baal baal bach gaye. They look in front. There’s traffic ahead. AARATI Ab to rokoge na ki uda kar le jane ki soch rahe ho? SANJIT Kash aisa karana mumakin hota. Sanjit puts on brakes but there are cars in front of their car. Their car is going fast and straight at cars in front. Sanjit presses brake pedal with all his might and both shut their eyes in fear. AARATI (Opening her eyes again, shouting sarcastically and speaking very fast.) Great! Sanjit hum marane ja rahe hain. Meri aakhari ichha sun lo. Main tum se gatth-chhutan karana chahati hoon. Yani ki divorce divorce divorce. (Looking in front of the car.) Ab hum marate hain. Pati-patni nahi, do ajanabiyo ki tarah.
(speaking as fast) You are overreacting Aarati. Hume kuchh nahi hoga. Aakhir main ek team ka captain hoon.
Captain ho ya shaptain...(sees cars in front of them getting very close and screams.) Aaaaahhh! Goodbye Sanjit. (shuts eyes.) Their car stops just some inches away from other cars. Aarti opens her eyes and is happy to have survived. CUT-TO: Aarati steps out of car. Sanjit follows him. AARATI (walking away from Sanjit) It’s over Sanjit. Aaj ke baad main tum se kabhi bhi milana nahi chahati hoon na hi car me tumhare sath ‘suffer’ karana chahati hoon.
Aarati you are overreacting. Please understand. Mere career ka sawal tha. AARATI Ek competition me nahi khelane se kya fark pad jayega? SANJIT Aarati world cup har saal nahi hota hai. I said I’m sorry. Both walk and turn in a street. In coach’s car- coach is still trying Sanjit’s phone number. COACH So raha hai kya? EXT. DAY – STREET Sunil is walking on a street and talking on his cellphone. His guards Bhima and Shera are waiting for him in his car. Vishakha is coming from the other side and sees Sunil. BHIMA (looking towards Sunil.) Kab se baat kar raha hai.
Haan. Kam se kam pandarah minute to ho gaye honge. BHIMA Puchh to kisaka phone hai? SHERA Mujhe kuchh nahi puchhana hai. Tujhe puchhana ho to puchh le. BHIMA Main isaliye kahe raha hoon ki shayad kisi ladaki ka ho sakata hai. SHERA To hone de. Itani sakhti bhi achhi nahi hai. Kahin mujhe naukari se haath na dhone pade. BHIMA Thik kahe raha hai. Inhe kya fark padata hai? Aaj niyam palenge to kal apani jhadenge. SHERA Vaise bhi yeh niyam-viyam meri samajh se bahar hai. Aise niyam bana kar sab ka wakt barbad karate hain yeh log. Ladkiyo se bhi kabhi koi door rahe sakata hai bhala? Vishakha is coming closer. VISHAKHA (going towards Sunil.) Hi Sunil! Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?
Kya kaha tha maine? (pointing at Sunil and Vishakha.) Wo dekh. Both watch them. Vishakha is still trying to get Sunil's attention. VISHAKHA Hey Sunil! Sunil sees her and looks at guards. Then pretends as if he didn’t see her. VISHAKHA (waving.) Sunil! Andhe ho gaye ho kya?
(on phone.) Hello? Hello? Aawaz nahi aa rahi hai.
(on phone.) Shayad signal kharab hai. Zor se bolo.
(getting up.) Sunil! Sunil! Main hoon. Vishakha!

(to girl in his arms.) Aur phir maine aisi sixer mari ki gend Bombay se Delhi pahoch gayi. Agale din wahan ke governor ne courier se wapas bheji thi. (girls laugh. Vijay laughs too.) GIRL Phir kya hua tha? ANIL (to girl he is holding.) Phir hume Bombay se Delhi tak ka kiraya dena pada.
(to all.) Excuse me guys. I’ll be right back. (whispering to Anil.) Tu bhi chal. (looking at guards.) Yahan thodi problem ho sakati hai.
Problem to ho gayi hai. (to girls.) Kisi ko hamare baare me kuchh nahi batana nahi to tumase katti kar dunga! GIRLS (laughs.) Ok baba. Kuchh nahi batayenge.
(lingering for a second.) Bye honey.
Majanu ki aulad chal yahan se. ANIL (looking back at girls.) Bye!
Byeeeeee! Both walk away fast from guards and mingle in dancing crowd. Guards stand at bar and order drinks. Anil and Vijay dance and hide in crowd. Guards drink and walk toward dance floor. VIJAY Yeh log to yahi aa rahe hain. ANIL To aane de. Two girls named Shiba and Vibha walk towards Vijay and Anil. GIRLS Hi guys. Kya aap wohi famous cricketers ho? GUYS Haan. To? GIRLS Wow! Wanna dance? VIJAY (seeing guards approaching.) No thanks.
(looking at Vibha.) What? (Laughing and asking Vijay.) No?
(to Vijay.) Why not?
Kya aap log kisi ka intezar kar rahe ho? Anil pulls Vijay away from girls and both dance. Guys around them are watching them and laughing. Anil and Vijay are angry but finding guards near they avoid them. Girls follow them. VIBHA (to Vijay.) Hi! Kya naam bataya aap ne?
Kis ka naam? Kaisa naam? ANIL Naam to bade logo ka hota hai. Girls laugh. Anil and Vijay look for guards and find them dancing and looking around dance floor. SHIBA (laughing.) You are so funny. Let’s dance.
(moving away from her.) Yeh kya kar rahi ho?
(angrily.) Kya matalab? Kya tumhe ladakiya nahi pasand hai? Hum to sirf dance karana chahate hain. (getting close to Anil.) Come on! Raat bhi jawan hai aur hum bhi.
(jokingly.) Dekhiye aap aisi bate nahi kijiye. Mujhe bahot gudagudi ho rahi hai.
Come on. Main achhe ghar ki ladaki hoon. VIJAY To tumhare achhe ghar me jao. Hume pareshan kyun kar rahi ho? VIBHA Chalo ab maan bhi jao. ANIL Nahi manata jao. Vibha laughs. Anil shows fake anger. ANIL (to Vijay.) Aaj yeh guards yahan nahi hote to dance to kya main aur bhi bahot kuchh kar leta.
Chalo Vibha. Mujhe lagata hai ki yeh log ek-dusare ko shayad kuchh zyada hi pasand karate hai. Hai na? (laughs.)
(laughing.) Shayad bahot pyar karate hai ek-dusare se.
In guards ki to main aisi ki taisi kar dunga. VIJAY Relax. Ladakiya to bahot milengi lekin team se bahar ho gaye to saare desh me hamari badanami ho jayegi. ANIL Thik hai. To ab kya kare? VIJAY Yahan se chalate hain. Both leave. Dance music is playing in B.G. Guards are still looking for them. But can’t find them. They take a look around club and leave. Anil and Vijay come out from behind the door after guards have left. They go back to dance floor and join Shiba and Vibha. VIJAY (to Shiba.) Hi girls. We are back.
Excuse me? ANIL (to Vibha.) Hum laut aaye hain.
(elbowing Shiba and whispering.) Are yeh wohi dono hai jinhone hamare sath dance karane se inkar kar diya tha.

(laughs.) You make a good couple. Vibha laughs. VIJAY Nahi nahi aap hume galat samajh rahi hain. Hum log...yani ki...gulli-danda nahi hain. Hum to aap ke sath dance karane aaye hain. SHIBA (laughs.) Ohh I’m sorry lekin tumane zara der kar di. Hume dancing partners mil gaye hain.

Here come the Indians who never let us lose. Foreign team laughs. ANIL (acting like girl.) Because it hurts your feeling so much!

Point yeh hai ki agali baar aisa nahi hona chahiye. Now lighten up. Coach enters in bus. All go back to their places. Bus leaves. INT. EVENING - TEAM HOTEL Team is going inside hotel. Sanjit is walking with Sunil, Vijay and Anil. They see Anita in hotel. Background music plays - “OH NO! ANITAAH!” ANIL (Sees Anita and looks at coach who is talking to a team member. Then asks Vijay.) Are yeh to Anita hai. Yeh yahan kya kar rahi hai?
Haan. Chal usase baat karate hain. SANJIT (to both.) Kya hua?
(pointing at Anita.) Anita yahan aai hai. Yeh usiko dekh rahe hain.
(looking at Anita.) Oh.
(following Vijay and Anil.) Vijay. Anil. Wahan nahi jao. Coach dekh lega.
Hi Sanjit. Hi Sunil. (to Vijay and Anil) Hi guys. What’s up? SANJIT Cricket’s up. What’s up with you? ANITA Dosto ke sath world cup dekhane aai hoon. SUNIL Oh. It's so good to see you here. ANITA All the best guys. Do well. SANJIT We will. Thanks. She writes her name in entry book and takes keys of her room from receptionist. ANITA Alright guys. See you later. Bye. ALL FOUR Bye.
