VO OF ARUN (very excitedly and loudly.) Run-out ki appeal ki gayi hai. Bahot nazadiki mamala ho sakata hai. (Umpire signals for third-umpire’s decision. Umpire ne third umpire se puchhane ka faisala kiya hai.
Mere khayal me Bharatiya team ke upar gehara sankat mandara raha hai. Replay me Dipankar out nazar aa rahe hain. (then the big screen on ground shows this message- Out. VO of Arun is very loud.) Out! Bharat ka nauwa wicket ja chuka hai. Bharat ko jitane ke liye ab do gendo me char runo ki zarurat hai aur aakhari wicket baki hai. Sanjit ninyanawe runo par khel rahe hain. Audience is silent. Coach Singh, team, Aarati and Vishakha look very worried. Dipankar walks back looking at ground. New batsman is walking towards batting crease. VO OF SURESH Naye ballebaz Ajit Tiwari khelane aa rahe hain. Strike unake paas hai. Sirf do gende baki hai. Unhe is gend me kam se kam do run banane ki zarurat hai. Gendabaz agali gend karane ke liye taiyar hain. (Coach Singh looks worried and stands up to watch. Sanjit walks towards Ajit Tiwari and talks to him. Umpire stops bowler from bowling.) VO OF ARUN Umpire ne gendabaz ko gend karane se rok diya hai. Shayad Sanjit ko apane sathi se koi baat karani hai. Sanjit has finished talking and returns to his side. Umpire signals bowler to bowl. Bowler runs to bowl. VO OF ARUN Aur ab agali gend. (audience claps. So do coach Singh, team, Aarati.) Ajit samana karenge. Bowler bowls. Ajit Tiwari plays the ball and runs. VO OF ARUN (very excitedly and loudly.) Ajit gend ko khel kar run daud rahe hai. Ek run aasani se milana chahiye.
Ajit dusara run lena chahate the magar Sanjit ne unhe roka. VO OF ARUN (very excitedly and loudly.) Shayad Sanjit aakhari gend khud khelana chahate hain. Bharat ko ab kewal ek gend me teen runo ki zarurat hai. Khel bahot romanchak mod par hai Suresh. Ek gend me teen run banana bahot hi mushkil hai.
(very excitedly and loudly.) Aap ne thik kaha Arun magar Bharat ko jit ke itana karib aakar yeh match ko gavana nahi chahiye. Sanjit ko pure manobal ke sath is gend ko khelana hoga aur kisi bhi tarah teen run banane honge. Aur ab gendabaz gend karane ke liye taiyar hai.
(very loudly.) Sanjit ne dumdar shot khela hai. Gend upar uthi hai. Fielder use field karane daud rahe hain.
(very excitedly and loudly.) Sanjit aur Ajit tezi se run daud rahe hain. Gend boundary ki aur ja rahi hai. Fielder gend ki aur daud rahe hain.
(very loudly and ecstatically.) SIXERRR!!! Suresh Bharat ne world cup jit liya hai. Sabhi ko bahot bahot badhaiya ho. Yeh woh adbhut kshan hai jo hum, aap aur agali kayi pidhiya anant kaal tak yaad rakhengi. Yeh Bharatiya itihas ka aisa sunehara adhyay hai jo kayi saalo me ek baar banata hai. Behad janadar chhakke ke sath Sanjit ne itihas me apana naam darj kara liya hai! Avishwasaniya, adbhut, abhutapurva chhakka Suresh. Aisa shot maine zindagi me paheli baar dekha hai Suresh lekin main ise zindagi bhar yaad rakhunga. Then all get up and scream in joy. Coach, team. Aarati and Vishakha are crying in joy. Sanjit stops running and goes back and jumps on his partner Ajit in joy. Both jump on each other and hug. Other team members congratulate and hug each other in pavilion. VO OF SURESH (in loudest possible voice in huge sound of crowd cheer.) Bilakul Arun. Aisa to na pahele kabhi hua hai aur na hi kabhi hoga. Yeh chhakka ek aitihasik chhakka hai jise sari duniya zarur aane wali kayi sadiyo tak yaad rakhegi. Sabhi ko world cup jitane ki bahot bahot badhaiya ho.
(in loudest possible voice in huge sound of crowd cheer.) Ji haan Suresh. Aaj Bharat ne world cup final jit kar ek naya itihas banaya hai. Bharat hi hai vishwa cup vijeta do-hazar-nau. Avishwasaniya ant hua hai is world cup final ka Suresh. Kisi ko andaza bhi nahi hoga ki is tarah chhakke ke sath khel samapt hoga. Suresh Sanjit shayad pahele hi faisala kar chuke the ki is gend ko crease se bahar ho kar khelenge aur pure atmavishwas se gend ko sima-rekha ke bahar bhej diya. Sanjit ne bahot hi adbhut shot khela aur adbhut pari nibhayi. Bilakul ek yoddha ki tarah aakhir tak ladate rahe Sanjit aur aaj apani team ko ek nayi bulandi par pahochaya hai.
Darshako me bilakul tyohar sa mahaul hai. Scoreboard shows- India is the new world champion. Wins final by 1 wicket. Congratulations India! Coach Singh looks at scoreboard and claps with all his might. He has tears of joy in his eyes. So do Aarati and others. Sanjit jumps on his partner in joy and raises his bat towards pavilion. Some people from the audience lift up Sanjit and Ajit. Scoreboard shows- Sanjit Sharma- 100* (100) VO OF SURESH Sanjit ne aaj apane desh ko ek abhutpurva aur aitihasik siddhi dilayi hai. Yahi nahi unhone yeh kaam match ki aakhari gend me apana shatak pura kar ke kiya hai. Aap ne sahi kaha Arun. Yeh din hum sab zarur yaad rakhenge. Ise Bharatiya cricket ke itihas ki kitab me sunahare aksharo se likha jayega. Sari duniya is din ko hamesha yaad rakhegi. VO OF ARUN (very loudly in sound of crowd cheer.) Bharatiya team, coach Singh aur Sanjit ko hamari aur se bahot bahot badhaiya ho.
(overwhelmed.) Sanjit ne ek-sau gendo me ek-sau runo ki nabaad pari khel kar Bharat ko vijayi banaya hai. Hume Ajit aur Anil ke hausale ki bhi vakai daad deni hogi Arun ki woh aakhir tak koi dabav me aaye bagair Sanjit ka sath dete rahe. Kya kahe Arun? Sanjit ko bahot bahot badhaiya ho. Bharat ko bahot bahot badhaiya ho aur aap ko bhi bahot bahot badhaiya ho Arun.
Aap ko bhi bahot bahot badhaiya ho Suresh. Aaj hume behad romanchak khel dekhane ko mila hai. Bharat ek baar phir vishwa cup vijeta bana hai. Logo me ekdum ek tyohar jaisa mahaul hai. Sanjit Sharma- 100* (100). VO OF SURESH Bharat teen-sau-dus par nau wickets. Arun Sanjit ne aakhari gend par vijayi chhakka mara aur Bharat ko bahot garv se vishwa cup dilaya hai. Crowd takes Sanjit, coach and rest of the team for a tour around the ground on people's shoulders. They wave at people in stadium. VO OF ARUN Ji haan Suresh. Yakin nahi hota jis hausale ke sath Sanjit ne aakhari chhakka mara aur khel ka samapan kiya. Ajit ne bhi unaka achha sath nibhaya. Tanav se bhare aakhari minuto me bhi apana santulan banaye rakha. Suresh hume Vijay aur Sunil ke yogadan ko bhi bhulana nahi chahiye. Vijay ne achhi shuruat karate hue tez chawalis run banaye aur Sunil ne bhi shanadar chhyanwe runo ki pari kheli. Durbhagyavash kewal char runo se woh apana shatak chuk gaye. Lekin khel me to sab kuchh jayaz hai. Aur usake baad Anil ne ballebazo ka hausala baddhate hue tez ballebazi ki jo karana pichhale kram ke ballebaz ke liye behad mushkil ho sakata tha khas kar aise tanav bhare avasaro par. Aarati, Vishakha and Chandra are waving at team from pavilion. Firecrackers burst in sky. People burn placards. Others are dancing. Some are exchanging money, jewelry, watches, etc. VO OF SURESH Arun aap ne bahot achhi baat kahi. Kul milakar Bharat ne bahot hi bahetarin khel khela hai. Khair bahot bahot badhaiya Bharatiya team ko jo ek jut ho kar team ke hit me utkrisht khel kheli aur hume vishwa cup jitane ka gaurav pradan kiya. Arun aaj Coach Singh ka seena garv se chouda ho gaya hai. Sanjit and Ajit get down from people's shoulders and hug coach and rest of the team. Then Sunil, Vijay, Anil and Sanjit hug each other and celebrate victory. They shout in joy. Crowd shouts with them. VO OF ARUN Bilakul Suresh. Coach Singh ki mahenat rang layi hai. Jis samay team kharab form se guzar rahi thi us samay par puri team ko prerit kar ek manch tak lana aur use jitana ek aitihasik siddhi hai aur hum hi nahi aane wali kayi pidhiya ise baraso-baraso tak yaad rakhengi. VO OF SURESH Zarur zarur yaad rakhengi Arun. Khair ek baar phir bahot bahot badhaiya ho. VO OF ARUN Bahot bahot badhaiya ho Suresh. People are still lighting firecrackers, playing music and dancing in frenzy of joy. Coach Singh, Sanjit and team are doing rounds of playground, waving at everyone. Crowd is boisterously applauding team. CUT-TO: PLAYGROUND – SAME TIME Sanjit, Sunil, Vijay and Anil lift world cup trophy and kiss it. Coach Singh is smiling from behind them. Many fans have gathered around them and are smiling too. Some photographers take their pictures. VO OF ARUN Sanjit world cup trophy ko chum rahe hain. Coach Singh muskura rahe hain. Darshak khushiya mana rahe hain. VO OF SURESH Sare desh me jashn ka mahol hoga. Ek baar phir sabhi ko bahot bahot badhaiya. Sound of firecrackers bursting. Fade out. BG music fades in. END CREDITS ROLL. In BG music- Sanjit gets Man of the Match trophy and world cup trophy. Coach, Sanjit and team get their pictures taken. All throw champagne on each other. Sanjit celebrates with Aarati. Sunil with Vishakha. Anil and Vijay with other girls. CUT TO: Sanjit, Sunil, Vijay and Anil have kids. They buy small cricket bats and balls for their kids. FADE.
