This fall (2014) we will be having Gaelic lessons, sending 3 volunteers away for tumblebugs training for out little people, training our own swimming instructor for our community, the list goes on and. On we at the centre and many other organizations in our area owe a big thank you to these two gentlemen their continued support is appreciated and essential......thanks Tom & Vince!

YOGA: Residents North of Smokey had an amazing experience of learning yoga from two knowledgeable and passionate Certified Yoga Instructors: Patsy MacKenzie and Faye Chipchase, for four weeks in May. Participants were encouraged to go at their own pace, listen to their body and breathe. Thank you to Ski Cape Smokey for the use of the facility, the Ingonish Triathlon for organizing the sessions and Naturally Active Victoria County for providing financial support to make the sessions possible!

January 15, 2015: "Enclosed is the final report for the St. Ann’s Bay/North Shore Trails Improvement Project. The trails are definitely being used, and we thank Vince Forrestall of Naturally Active Victoria County and Municipal Council for your help in completing this project. We’ve had between twelve and thirty people on each Saturday Community Hike since November, and the numbers seem to be growing. Landowners are happy, our trail team is pleased with the work they completed, and the Health Group is delighted at the number of hikers who are turning out for the improved trails. Please pass our thanks on to those who were responsible" - Sincerely - Ruth M.
