Criteria: The awards are available to young people (18 years of age or older) who are under the care of a physician for the treatment of epilepsy, to assist with their post-secondary education at any recognized institution throughout the world. Applicant must be a resident of Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, or Nova Scotia.

2. Proof of acceptance into a Canadian post secondary program in the appropriate arts program. 3. Resume outlining the following: employment history, extracurricular activities, volunteer activities, activities relevant to the scholarship. 4. One reference letter providing a recommendation for the scholarship 5. Two references (other than family members) who may be contacted to provide reference to your achievements in the arts. 6. A short outline indicating which scholarship you wish to be considered for. 7. The Holland College Foundation Personal Insurance Company Entrance Award (internal) - Deadline: May 15 Value: $2500 (3 awards) Criteria: Students must be accepted into a full-time program at Holland College. A committee selected by the Registrar will review the applications. The recipients will be selected based on the review of the application materials. |
The T-Base Communications Scholarship (external) - Deadline: June 30 Value: $2000
Description: The T-Base Communications scholarship program helps to fund the educational pursuits of an outstanding blind, deaf-blind or partially sighted student in Canada who is continuing his or her academic education at the post-secondary level. The T-Base Communications Scholarship is designed to help students pursue their educational endeavours and is not limited to any one discipline.

Transitions Leadership Awards - Fall Intake (internal) - Deadline: Feb. 1 Value: $250 (2 awards)

Description: The Transitions Program has grown to take in over 80 students annually through partnerships with local high schools. Students rotate through program clusters where they are exposed to more than 25 Holland College programs. The objective of this award is to ease the financial strain for deserving, hard-working, transitions students aspiring to continue their educational journey through a Holland College program. Four, $250 awards will be given annually.
Criteria: Students must apply for the award. Applications to include a completed Application Form, including the Financial Information section and a one-page summary addressing why they feel they would be a deserving candidate.

Vector Aerospace's Danny Landry Memorial Scholarship (internal) - Deadline: May 15 Value: $2000
Applies to: Aircraft Gas Turbine Engine Repair and Overhaul
Criteria: Applicants must be accepted into the Aircraft Gas Turbine Engine Repair and Overhaul Program and, on admission to the program, demonstrate through previous academic performance and other aspects of the recruitment and selection process outstanding potential for successful participation in the aviation industry. Submission must include a completed application form and an autobiographical essay.
