  • Future goals are to attend either Duke University or Georgia Tech to study to become an engineer.

  • Can solve the Rubrik’s Cube in one minute and can also listen to songs on the radio and teach himself to play the song on the piano without seeing the music.

  • Nicole volunteers at her chapter, US Kids Golf events and the California Eagles, a part of the Special Olympics

  • She was selected to attend the 2014 Auntie Anne’s Leaders and Entrepreneurs Forum in Orlando, Florida as well as The First Tee Nor-Cal Life Skills and Leadership Academy

  • Has volunteers for over three years at two different The First Tee locations (Pittsburgh and Murrysville) and was a counselor-in-training for Camp Kon-o-Kwee.

  • Future goals are to go to college in Canada and to become a member at a country club so that she can play in a women’s golf league.

  • Has biked over 350 miles from Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh in six days.

  • Enjoys drawing, making jewelry and going to concerts in her free time.

  • Has met influential role models such as President Bush, Annika Sorenstam and investment banker Carla Harris.

  • Future goals are to get a 2000 or more on the SAT, play division-1 collegiate golf and to become a doctor or a lawyer.

  • Volunteers at her chapter and local hospital as well as a peer tutor at her school. She is also president and founder of the Debate Club at her school.

  • Mentors at her chapter and at SHOREline, which is a program that has youth help other youth in a natural disaster.

  • Significant event in her life was moving from Los Angeles to Philadelpiha, Mississippi to where she lives now, New Orleans. The moves helped her grow as a person as she gained new experiences, friends and knowledge.

  • Loves photography and being outdoors.

  • Her favorite on course snacks are granola bars and strawberries.

  • A significant event in her life was when her grandfather died. She considered him her best friend and it was hard for her to get over the passing.

  • Mentors youth at her chapter.

  • Future goals are to play collegiate golf at Texas A&M and proceed to play on the LPGA TOUR.

  • Likes to sing when she is not playing because she found that it is a way for her to express how she is feeling.

  • Mom was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and The First Tee Healthy Habit Energy has helped him to learn how to stay in good shape and eat good food.

  • Future goal is to qualify for the US OPEN.

  • Broke his finger and had to have surgery on it. He couldn’t play golf for 2 months and had to question his future involvement in it.

  • Loves playing basketball and plays on YMCA teams in the winter.

  • Has traveled to India to conduct a three day workshop to teach underprivileged children the life skills and game of golf that he has learned from The First Tee.

  • Future goal is to play National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) golf.

  • Outside of playing golf, he enjoys competing in mock trial events, learning about investing and studying at the New York Historical Society.

  • Aside from academics, he enjoys participating in the Comedy Club at his school.

  • Significant event in his life was when he was allowed to travel alone for the first time to Florida for a golf camp. He says that the experience has made him more independent and helped him have a stronger golf game.

  • Mentors three junior female golfers at her chapter and teaches them how to keep their score, pace of play and course management.

  • Plans to graduate high school with honors and play college golf and would like to earn a degree in business so that she can work in the golf industry.

  • She loves to jog, hike and read.

  • Her mother, grandmother and her were in a car accident. Her mother and grandmother got injured from the airbags after someone ran a red light and totaled their truck. The event taught her the importance of a seatbelt and the value of life.

  • The First Tee Core Value Respect represents her the most because she was raised by two Air Force veterans and it has taught her to respect the men and women in service, the flag and the country.

  • Mentored a fellow student at her high school on how to play golf.

  • Future goals are to play college golf and to would like to pursue a career in sports management.

  • She loves to play basketball and PlayStation 4 and she has a weird love for cats.

  • In preparing for the tournament, she is watching Caddyshack in the hope that she gets to meet Bill Murray.

  • Her favorite on course snack is a Snickers bar after the first nine holes.

  • A significant event in his life is getting a classical education in elementary school and meeting his golf coach when he was young.
