  • Volunteers as a junior coach at her chapter.

  • Being part of the Girl Scouts has played a huge role in her life.

  • She is an only child in her family but she says that her dog gives her joy and company.

  • She is interested in sports medicine careers and hopes to one day help people through science.

  • Serves as a volunteer coach at his chapter and assists participants from the PLAYer level to the Birdie level.

  • Is an avid pool and ping pong player and can eat a 5x5 In N’ Out burger.

  • When he’s not playing golf he likes to play basketball, go trail running and read a captivating political thriller novel.

  • Has developed The First Tee Healthy Habit Energy this past year by eating healthier meals and sleeping more so that he can have more energy throughout the day.

  • 15-year-old junior at Corona del Sol High School, involved with The First Tee for 7 years.

  • Future goal is to get a full ride scholarship to play college golf and earn a degree in education to become an elementary school teacher.

  • Her nickname is “red” for her hair color and because of her driver.

  • Although her last name is pronounced like “flower” she prefers it to be pronounced like “lower” because that’s how she wants her golf scores to be (low).

  • A significant event in her life was when one of her classmates committed suicide on her school’s campus and then in the same day her dog had to be put down. She learned from the grief that day and now, her and her team, plays in honor of their classmate.

  • Volunteers with Fit Kids Foundation, Grow the Game with Lacrosse All-Stars and is a student coach at his chapter with The First Tee.

  • Represented his chapter at the 2014 The First Tee Nine Healthy Habit Summit and the 2015 Outstanding Participant Summit.

  • Future goals are to play Division-1 college golf and play for the PGA TOUR. If he is unable to get to the TOUR he wants to become a chemical engineer.

  • Has had the unique privilege to teach and guide youth in his area through his chapter’s ACE program.

  • Future goals are to achieve a scholarship to a Division-1 college so that he can have a career as a Structural Engineer with a law degree.

  • Is a junior coach and has helped out at many events and clinics at his chapter.

  • His future goals are to play college golf, study course design, play for the PGA and become the second African American to win The Masters and receive a green jacket.

  • He loves to cook BBQ with his dad and make pasta sauce with his mom.

  • Playing at The Nature Valley First Tee Open has been a dream of his since he was 12 years old.

  • Would like to play college golf as he pursues a degree in aeronautical engineering.

  • Represented his high school at the Model United Nations (UN) in New York.

  • People ask him why he doesn’t play basketball because of his height so he tells them that he likes to shoot baskets, but golf has his heart.

  • A significant event in his life is undergoing surgery to remove a benign tumor from his arm.

Hannah Moesinger (Han-nah Moh-singer), The First Tee of Metropolitan Oklahoma City (OK)

  • 17-year-old senior at Westmoore High School, involved with The First Tee for 8 years.

  • Wants to play college golf and get her master’s degree in mechanical engineering and work at Tinker Air Force Base.

  • Enjoys drawing, writing fictional stories, long boarding and shooting her compound bow.

  • Is left handed but golfs and does most sports right handed.

  • In the summer of 2014, she volunteered in a remote village in Guatemala where she helped build a new foundation for a building.

  • Overcame complications from a car accident in November 2014. She wasn’t able to play golf right away and had to reteach herself how to swing a golf club.

  • Her father is now a military veteran, but her life revolved around moving station to station from Maryland to Germany to her home now in Oklahoma.

  • Helped assist in group clean-ups in Oklahoma after tornados.

  • 17-year-old senior at Fairfax High School, involved with The First Tee for 8 years.

  • Volunteers at his local food bank.

  • Met President Obama on a golf outing at Fort Belvoir Golf Club.

  • Loves seafood and has been known to eat three pounds of crab legs by himself in one sitting.

  • Loves to use “prodigious” vocabulary because it has taught him to make himself sound “astute” among friends and family.

  • Wants to become a professional golfer and play on the PGA TOUR.

  • Volunteers at the local Red Cross blood drive, Just For Girls and Teenage PLAYer level classes at her chapter.

  • Represented her chapter at The First Tee 2015 Outstanding Participant Leadership Summit in Dallas.

  • Future goals are to finish first in her class academically, play college golf and to find a career in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) field.

  • Known for her fun nail designs that she creates herself. She does different themes for different times of the year, her personal favorite is a shark eating a swimmer during Shark Week.

  • Her father is in the military so she has been to seven different schools, five states and two countries. She is now fluent in French because she lived in Belgium at one time.

  • What she is looking forward to most about playing in The Nature Valley First Tee Open is that her father can experience Pebble Beach with her family. Her older brother, ______, played in the event last year (____) while her father was deployed in Afghanistan and got to watch him play on TV over Facetime.

  • When he’s not on the golf course, he is rarely not wearing boots and jeans. He wishes he could put golf spikes on his boots so that he can play in them.

  • A big transition in his life was transferring from a private Christian school to a larger public school.

  • Volunteers at his chapter as an assistant coach since 2011.

  • Gave a speech about The First Tee’s impact on his life at The Claude King Tournament at Princess Anne Country Club.

  • Future goal is to play college golf and pursue a career as a Mechanical Engineer so that he can try to get a job at a major golf equipment manufacturer.

  • A significant event in his life was losing his uncle who was also his godfather at 11 years old. Before every tournament, he visits him at the cemetery and asks him to keep an eye on him during his round and to help him get through the challenges of the tournament.

  • 17-year-old junior at Salinas High School, involved with The First Tee for over 9 years.

  • Represented his chapter at three of The First Tee national events in the past calendar year: the 2014 Life Skills and Leadership Academy, the 2014 RBS Achievers and the 2015 Outstanding Participant Leadership Summit.

  • Volunteers as an assistant coach at his chapter for three years.

  • Wants to become a sports broadcaster, start his own golf clothing line and create a foundation to help prevent bullying.

  • Lost his speech ability at the age of two because of seizures that were followed by a diagnosis of autism. He as in special education classes from pre-school until sophomore year of high school and has fully regained his speaking abilities. He wants to write a book about his personal experience with Autism to inspire youth with Autism that they can reach their dreams like he has reached his.

  • His older sister, Corrine Ow, played in The First Tee Open in 2011 and he has volunteered at The First Tee Open as a Standard Barrier for 7 years.

  • 16-year-old junior at Torrey Pines High School, involved with The First Tee for 8 years.

  • Participated in the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Trip where she got to stay at a host house from the Girls’ Mentoring Committee.

  • Dreams of playing collegiate golf and majoring in broadcast journalism, communication or even forensic psychology!

  • Recently has started Taekwondo.

  • Her birth name is Jung Min Park but goes by her catholic baptism name, Elizabeth, at her chapter.

  • The First Tee Core Value that represents her the most is Responsibility as she has learned to balance school and golf.

  • 18-year-old senior at Torrey Pines High School, involved with The First Tee for over 9 years.

  • First recipient to receive the American Society of Golf Course Architect’s First Tee Scholarships.

  • Future goals are to play college golf and study law.

  • Can play five instruments (violin, piano, flute, French horn and the guitar) and has recently started learning martial arts.

  • Learning English was one the biggest challenges in his life after moving from Korea to the United States.

  • Her younger sister, Jung Min (Elizabeth) Park, is also playing in the 2015 The Nature Valley First Tee Open.
