Duties: The Contracts and Administration Clerk is accountable to the Organisational Services Officer (Northern and Western) for the provision of a comprehensive contract and administrative service to the Port Lincoln Operations Unit of the Northern and Western Region, including the preparation of progress payments, rise and fall calculations, maintenance of data bases, processing of correspondence and secretarial services to contract meetings which contributes to the effective administration and management of contracts. The incumbent is also responsible for the provision of general administrative/clerical and customer services including effective control of the Port Lincoln Sub Imprest Account in accordance with Regional goals and objectives.




Special Conditions: Initial location will be the Northern and Western Region based in Port Lincoln, but the incumbent may be assigned to other areas to perform work of a similar nature appropriate to the classification, anywhere in the State.

Duties: The Field Support Officer is accountable to the Manager Licensing, Murray Bridge for the collection of information and provision of services to effectively administer the water resources legislation. The responsibilities include collection/maintenance of data, arranging meter testing, water sampling, field inspections, use of GPS equipment, providing advice/assistance to customers and investigating complaints. The Officer also has a role in assisting the prosecution of offenders and participating in process improvement initiatives.




Special Conditions: Initial location will be the Murraylands Regional Office, Murray Bridge, however the incumbent is required to spend extended periods in the field and may be required to work at other locations from time to time, subject to reasonable notice and normal allowances. Some out of hours work and intrastate travel involving extended overnight absences may be required. A current Driver's Licence is essential.

Provide configuration change of services for the Government Corporate Telephone Network by liaising with Agency representatives and managing telephone service changes and new installations; programming on the NEC PABX network; programming of voicemail boxes and PABXs. Provide an efficient and effective telephone 'moves and changes' service by liaising with contractors and monitoring their progress; allocating work orders to external contractors; seeking quotes; coordinating new equipment service requests, etc. Manage relevant databases and systems. Provide other enhanced telephony services.
