This appears to be a preacher's note book written in ink listing, in various cities/towns, starting in 1831, members, receipts, texts, marriages (including what the preacher was apparently paid) etc. Title Page if we can call it such, says, "Church Record for Shelburne VT August 1831 Z. Phillips (and ?) Preachers..." . But there are sections such as "Texts in (?) Troy - 1842", "Albany 1844 Receipts", "Pittsfield NY 1847", etc. About 35 - 40pp are blank. A couple of pages loose; some chipping, but overall in good condition. Definitely not a thorough book year by year, but certainly useful for a historical society or someone doing research in these areas in the 1830s & 1840s. (#lynn084b ) $25.52
