Student Profile


The annual enrollment for students at Garrett College for the past academic year was approximately 1,000 credit and 4,000 non-credit students. In May 2013, Garrett College awarded 107 degrees, 1 Certificate and 106 Associates degrees. In the fall of 2013, Garrett College taught approximately 600 full time students and 170 part time students. Also in the fall of 2013, 171 students lived in Garrett College’s residence halls.

Employee Profile


Garrett College employees 312 faculty and staff members. Garrett College staff employment includes 104 full-time staff members and 103 part-time staff members. Garrett College faculty employment includes 18 full-time faculty members, 47 part-time faculty members, and approximately 40 Continuing Education instructors.

President


The President’s office consists of the President, an Executive Assistant to the President, and an Office Associate to the President. Each of the Deans, the Director of Development/Executive Director of Foundation, the Director Human Resources, and the Director of Institutional Planning are direct reports to the President.

Administration & Finance


The Dean of Administration & Finance leads the Administration & Finance department supported by an Executive Associate with the following direct reports: the Bookstore Manager, the Director of Business & Finance, the Copy Center Manager, the Plant Manager, the Facilities/Maintenance, the Director of Financial Aid, the Director of Information Technology/CIO/CTO, and the Coordinator of Security Services.

Bookstore


The Bookstore Manager leads Bookstore department consisting of the Bookstore Cashier and two (2) Bookstore Staff.

The Director of Business & Finance leads the Business & Finance department consisting of the Staff Accountants, the Accounting Clerks, and the Office Assistant.

Copy Center


The Copy Center Manager leads the Copy Center department consisting of the Copy Center Assistant.

Facilities/Maintenance


The Plant Manager leads Facilities/Maintenance department consisting of several departments, including, Building Systems, Custodial, Maintenance, and Transportation/Grounds. The direct reports to the Plant Manager are the Office Associate, the Building Systems Supervisor, the Custodial Supervisor, the Maintenance Supervisor, and the Transportation/Grounds Supervisor.
Building Services

The Building Services Supervisor leads Building Services department consisting of several Electricians and Maintenance Technicians.
Custodial

The Custodial Supervisor leads Custodial department consisting of several Custodial Technicians and Maintenance Technicians.
Maintenance

The Transportation/Grounds Supervisor leads Transportation/Grounds department consisting of several Maintenance Technicians.
Transportation/Grounds

The Transportation/Grounds Supervisor leads Transportation/Grounds department consisting of several Grounds Technicians and Automotive Technicians.
        1. Financial Aid


The Director of Financial Aid leads Financial Aid department consisting of the Assistant Director of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Coordinator, and the Financial Aid Counselor.

The Director of Information Technology/CIO/CTO leads Information Technology department consisting of an Executive Associate, an Information Technology Assistant, a Multimedia Support Technician (vacant), a Network Administrator, a Management Information System Administrator, a Software Support Technician, a Hardware Support Technician, a Webmaster, and two (2) Copy Center staff members.

The Coordinator of Security Services leads Security Services department consisting of all the Security Officers.

The Dean of Continuing Education & Workforce Development (CEWD) leads the CEWD department supported by an Executive Associate and an Administrative Associate with the following direct reports:

The CEWD Program Coordinator has an Office Associate as a direct report. The CAEL Program Director has an Office Associate as a direct report. The CTTC Program Coordinator has an Office Associate as a direct report. The CARC Program Director has an Administrative Associate, a Program Coordinator, and a Certified Pool Operator as direct reports. Each of these positions have various part time positions as direct reports including Building Managers, Front Desk Attendants, Personal Trainers, Lifeguards, Group Fitness Instructors, Camp Counselors and others as needed for special programs.

Development/Foundation


The Director of Development/Executive Director of Foundation leads Development/Foundation department supported by an Executive Associate for Development/Foundation.

Human Resources


The Director of Human Resources (HR) leads the HR department supported by a Payroll & Personnel Assistant.

Institutional Planning


The Dean of Institutional Planning leads the Institutional Planning department supported by an Assistant Director of Institutional Research and Planning and an Institutional Research Assistant.

Instruction & Academic Affairs


The Dean of Instruction & Academic Affairs [Interim] leads the Instruction & Academic Affairs department supported by an Executive, an Administrative Associate and the following direct reports:

The Director of Advising, Career, & Transfer Services leads the Advising, Career, & Transfer Services department consisting of an Office Associate, Academic Success Advisors, a Counselor/Advisor, and a Coordinator of Academic Support.

Athletics


The Director of Athletics leads Athletic department consisting of an Athletic Trainer, a Head Men’s Basketball Coach, a Head Women’s Basketball Coach, a Head Men’s Baseball Coach, a Head Women’s Softball Coach, a Head Men’s Golf Coach, a Head Women’s Volleyball Coach, and Assistant Coach(es) for each of the Head Coaches. Some of these positions are multi-functional and require the performance of additional duties including Coordinator of Athletic Social Media, Assistant CARC Director, and Coordinator of Student-Athlete Academic Welfare.

Health Services


The Coordinator of Health Services is the only member of the Health Services department.

Residence Life


The Coordinator of Residence Life leads Residence Life department consisting of an Assistant Coordinator of Student Programs/Residence Life and an Assistant Coordinator of Residence Life.
