Uses and examples: (cách dung và ví dụ) - Một hành động đang diễn ra tại một thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ. Ex: What were you doing at 7 p.m yesterday? - Một hành động đang xảy ra trong quá khứ thì một hành động khác xảy ra cắt ngang. Ex: Mai was watching TV when I came home. When they were having dinner, she entered their room. - Hai hành động xảy ra song song trong quá khứ. Ex:While her mother was cooking dinner, her father was reading books. * Dấu hiệu nhận biết: At this ( that) time yesterday: Vào thời điểm này (đó) ngày hôm qua At this ( that) time last week: Vào thời điểm này (đó) tuần trước. At this ( that) time month: Vào thời điểm này (đó) tháng trước During last semester: Suốt học kỳ qua At 9:00 last night:Lúc 9 giờ tối hôm qua All day : suốt ngày All night: suốt đêm All morning: Suốt buổi sang When / while/ as + past continuous (longer action) When + past simple (shorter action) At + giờ + thời gian trong quá khứ PRACTICE Chia dạng đúng của động từ trong ngoặc ở thì quá khứ tiếp diễn. 1.
