Central Sports Club of the Russian Interior Ministry Internal Troops

In accordance with the order of USSR Interior Ministry on February 5, 1954, in the interests of society "Dynamo" was formed by seven full-time sports teams, which were contained by the number of border police, internal security forces, internal and convoy protection, police, fire, military, construction management and the KGB.


With the formation of All-Union Ministry of Public Order of the USSR in 1966 of the Internal Troops have joined units of the Soviet republics, in which there were 17 teams. On January 1, 1968 in USSR Interior Ministry troops was contained 28 full-time teams.
In order to prepare for the XXII Olympic Games in 1980 in Moscow and the establishment of a reserve for sports teams at the controls, formations and units of internal troops of the USSR Interior Ministry Order November 14, 1977 was set up 29 contingency teams.
Subsequently, due to the number of internal forces in the interests of society "Dynamo" containing 23 full-time sports teams in various sports, five football teams, including four football teams in the league masters Moscow, Minsk, Kiev and Tbilisi.
Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR in positions of officers and warrant officers were allowed to have employees as well as conscripts.
In 1993, the Order of the Russian Interior Ministry on August 11, 1993 Districts Russian Interior Ministry troops operated seven full-time teams. In 1998, the implementation of measures to reform the Interior Ministry Russian sports teams of the North-Western and Eastern Districts of internal troops were disbanded. In December 2007, a sports team in North-West District was established inland again.
Central Sports Club of the Interior Ministry of Russia (in Russian Interior Ministry GKVV) was established by order of the Interior Ministry in 2003. Its main objectives are: - development of the internal troops of Olympic and applied military sports training world-class athletes and sports reserve; - management of the sports teams of internal troops of the Russian Interior Ministry - to help quickly and territorial associations, formations, military units and military educational institutions of higher education Russian Interior Ministry troops in the organization of sports, educational and training work - sports activities assigned to the internal troops.
Federal Agency for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism: - promotion of physical culture and sports, sports performance athletes and teams of internal forces in the international and Russian competitions in the media, meetings with athletes of higher skill.
Central Sports Club of internal troops of the Russian Interior Ministry supervises six sports teams at the regional command of internal troops of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Currently, the highest achievements in sport MVD Russia are eight Olympic champions and 15 Olympic medalists, 49 World Champions, 41 European Champion, 20 Honoured Coach of Russia, 47 Honoured Master of Sports, 13 Honored Worker of Physical Culture, 93 masters of sports of international the class. The pride of the Interior Ministry of Russia are the champions and winners of the Olympic Games, World and European in different years, who served in the internal troops: Lev Yashin, Alexander Tikhonov, Shamil Tarpishchev, Alexander Karelin, Natalia Linichuk and Gennady Karponosov, Sergei Tchepikov, Alexander Popov, Julia Chepalova Valentina Egorova, Zulfiya Zabirova, Dmitry Svatkovsky, Eugene Aleinikov, Victor Tregubov, Svetlana Kriveleva, Anatoly Asrabaev, Svetlana Gladyshev, Alexander Kostoglod, Andrey Moiseev Alexander Legkov, Dmitri Yaroshenko and others.
At the Olympics XXVII Summer 2000 in Sydney, XIX Winter 2002 in Salt Lake City, XXVIII Summer 2004 in Athens, XX Winter 2006 in Turin as part of the national teams of Russia were 46 representatives of interior troops of Russia, who won 4 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze medals.
Each year, Central Sports Club of the Interior Ministry of Russia conducts championships Russian Interior Ministry troops in ski racing, fighting, all-round officer, athletics, shooting from a standard-issue weapons, mini-football, sambo, judo. Sports activities and physical training in the internal troops are an important means of military education and training, health promotion and hardening of the body of military personnel. At the championships the Interior Ministry of Russia in 2006 in various sports completed and confirmed the classification requirements for the award of master of sports of sports titles 33 Russian soldiers.
In the MVD of Russia constantly being athletic performance, aimed at training military and civilian youth in the spirit of patriotism: the All-Russian tournament held annually in memory of fighting a military journalist Anatoly Jagodina Championship and fighting the name of Hero of Russia, Colonel General Anatoly Romanov.
In 2006, a meeting with servicemen of internal troops - winners and participants of the Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006 and a meeting with servicemen of internal troops - the owners of the Davis Cup.

Engineering Department of the General Staff of the High Command of Internal Troops Russia

In 1957, the decision of the Council of Ministers, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs was established General Directorate of Internal and convoy troops (GUVKV USSR MVD). Changes that have occurred this year in the internal troops, upgrade their technical equipment, the role of technical means to ensure the protection of critical industrial facilities demanded the creation of engineering services, was appointed chief Col. Anatoly Mityushin.


The main task assigned to the Chief of Engineers, USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs GUVKV was the centralization of the order of engineering technology, facilities and equipment for all departments that were part of that time in the structure of internal and convoy troops of the MVD of the USSR. In the 60s more and more importance is beginning to take a new direction service - the application of technical means of protection and in 1967 the Main Department of Internal Troops was a department of engineering and technical means of protection, under the leadership of Major-General Nikolai Andrianov (who died in 2006 city). The basis of the engineering capabilities in this period were units TCO military units and formations for the protection of correctional facilities, essential public facilities and maintenance of special cargo.
In 1988, the Department of ITSO and engineering service together, and a department of engineering and technical support, which was headed by Maj. Gen. Alexander P. Kotlyarov. In the 1990s, in the course of events in the Caucasus and in the North Caucasus region of the internal forces have additional experience in performing engineering tasks in isolation from their places of permanent deployment, and above all to verify the (intelligence) pathway of the troops, terrain and objects in the presence of explosive objects and their clearing; fortification equipment areas, boundaries and positions of the troops, the device and the content of artificial obstacles. Since 1995, this department, which subsequently was converted into engineering management, led by Lieutenant-General Vladimir Lukic Rowan.
During this period the main lines of activity are: the organization of engineering service and combat activity of troops, especially in the North Caucasus region, equipment and maintenance facilities ITSO on important state and military facilities, provision of engineering equipment of troops, funds and property, their operation, the application and repair.
In 2010, the chief engineer troops - chief of engineering management GKVV Russian Interior Ministry appointed Major General Alexander A. Zarovnyatnyh. Currently, the development of engineering services, engineering, military units held in the following areas:
 - Optimization of the organizational structure of engineering units and departments, improving the tactics of their actions and how to perform engineering tasks in different contexts of the situation with the use of modern engineering tools;
- Improvement of training for all categories of servicemen during the development of modern engineering equipment, improvement of training facilities;
- Phasing out of service, to the extent of service life, heavy equipment on the basis of track, on older types of wheel tractors and replacing them with engineering equipment in a single wheelbase and light bulldozers, with an increase in their purchases of 2-2.5;
- Equipment with modern technical means of military facilities and maintain them in working order.
For courage and bravery shown in the performance of military duty, more than 800 military engineering units awarded state awards, as senior lieutenant V. St. George, Sergeant AN Beloded, Sergeant A. Buzin and ratings NY Sitnikov was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Russian Federation.
