BDO Employees on Work Experience and Performance An Exploration of the Working Conditions and Employee Performance of Banco De Oro
the customer participant the questions were focused on the experience towards
employees and the findings were good experience and good overall customer service. The
researchers concluded that the most important factors that affect Employee
performance are mostly the salary growth, ethical Co-workers/Managers relationship
and specific benefits. The researchers would like to recommend future similar studies to
explore wider jobs in BDO, in this way it will be more specific and easier to study.

Businesses are often overlooked for it’s achievements and results but in the midst of their cash flows, investments, risks, people do not often recognize the significance of reaching the needs of employees because they area big part of every industry’s work. Certain businesses are too large that cannot be handled altogether by single entrepreneurs alone, and that is where employees take part. Employees are hired in a company to do certain jobs in order to provide labor and service to its employer (Murray. Employees are able to control if they want to do the minimum for their work or to willingly give effort on their work. Most employees experience stressful times in their occupations due to disappointing working conditions and environment that results in bad performance for most because they lose motivation (HITS HUMANIZING TECHNOLOGY, n.d). Studies show that investing in an employee is worth it and would greatly provide certain benefits for businesses to function better for its succeeding years (CMOE, 2021). As a result, companies nowadays offer better employee treatment and provide better control about the feelings and situations of employees,
and based on the article workstars posted there are several companies that offer unique and wonderful employee care (Workstars, 2021).
Background of the Study
Banco de Oro (BDO) is the biggest banking company in the Philippines. in terms of assets they are the 15th Largest in Southeast Asia (BDO, 2021). BDO was founded in 1967 and is currently handled by its CEO Nestor V. Tan. As of 2020, BDO

posted that they have a large quantity of employees numbering 34,000 (Owler, The company achieved a total of 1,478 total branches all around the Philippines and their assets grew from 13 Billion php to 3.2 Trillion PHP from 1976 to 2019. BDO
also received several awards.
The problem in our modern world is that many companies don’t know the proper and ideal way in order to reach their employees' satisfaction. This study aims to know more about employee POV and explore certain working conditions that companies do to satisfy their employee needs.
Research Questions/Objectives
The main objective of this study is to understand how employee care enhances the working performance of employees working on BDO.
Specifically, this study aims to address the following questions. How do the working conditions of BDO affect the work performance of its employees. Is it really important for employers to care for their employees. How is investing on the welfare of employees worth the investment?
