Baltimore UniCERT, the award winning Certificate Authority (CA), has been extended to produce WAP digital certificates (WTLS certificates). WAP gateways and mobile devices and servers need these certificates to authenticate themselves to mobile device users. Baltimore Telepathy WAP Certificate Authority (WCA) extends the wide range of UniCERT plug-in modules already available to now include wireless and wired world users.
Baltimore Telepathy WAP Certificates
An essential part of publishing secure content to mobile devices is the ability to authenticate your server to mobile users. WAP Server certificates, also known as WTLS certificates, are available from Baltimore Technologies as part of its Telepathy range.
Baltimore Telepathy PKI Registration System
A powerful registration system that allows wireless users to seamlessly enter into a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). The Baltimore Telepathy PKI Registration System (PRS) provides mobile device users with their digital identity in a wireless network. It provides the technology to bind mobile device users to their digital certificates stored in PKIs. It enables users to authenticate themselves and participate in mobile commerce. This system can be used for both WAP and GSM/SIM phones.
Baltimore Telepathy PKI Validation System
This is a unique digital certificate retrieval and validation system, with minimal bandwidth and storage requirements, specifically designed for the constrained wireless environment. The Baltimore Telepathy PKI Validation System (PVS) retrieves and validates using certificate identifiers rather than the complete digital certificate, allowing the user access to multiple certificates without the need to store them locally.
Baltimore Telepathy Digital Signature Toolkit (DST)
This is a powerful developer toolkit allowing content providers to build systems to process wireless digital signatures. It is an essential tool for anyone creating a mobile commerce solution that requires digital signatures to be used for authentication, confidentiality, integrity and non-repudiation. WAP 1.2 specifies digital signatures in WML (Wireless Markup Language). This toolkit implements that specification and allows content providers to receive signatures sent from a mobile device and verify their validity using a PKI.
