iXL  - www.ixl.com. IXL is a comprehensive, standards-aligned math practice program offering unlimited problems in thousands of skills. PTSA has paid for a subscription. Please see your teacher for username and password data.

Reflex  - www.reflexmath.com. Reflex helps students of all ability levels to develop fluency with their basic facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. PTSA has paid for a subscription. Please see your teacher for username and password data.

Zeno – Play Math at Home - www.zenomath.org. Zeno offers suggestions of math games to play at home to ignite your child’s curiosity and confidence to make your whole family Math Powered.

Multiplication.com – www.multiplication.com. A website that offers free math games and advice about how to teach multiplication facts to kids of all ages.

Accelerated Reader -  www.lwsd.org/school/lakeview/Library/Pages/Accelerated-Reader-Program.aspx. Accelerated Reader (AR) is a tool for monitoring and encouraging independent reading practice. Children can only take quizzes at school, but parents can track their progress and look up books at home. PTSA has paid for a subscription. Please see your teacher for your child’s username and password.

Tumble Books - www.kcls.org.ezproxy.kcls.org/kids/ebooks/. Tumble Books is an online collection of animated; talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they’ll love. King County Library offers this free of charge.

Story Bird – www.storybird.com. Story Bird is an online tool to “Make, read, and share visual stories”.

Starfall - www.starfall.com. Starfall is a free public service to teach children to read with phonics. Their systematic phonics approach, in conjunction with phonemic awareness practice, is perfect for preschool, K-2nd, special education and ELL.

It is a not-for-profit with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education for anyone anywhere. Khan Academy’s materials and resources are available to you completely free of charge.

Freerice.com - www.freerice.com. Freerice.com is a non-profit website that is owned by and supports the United Nations World Food Programme.  Freerice has two goals:

  • Provide education to everyone for free.

  • Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.

This is a free website that offers everyone the ability to practice their skills in multiple subjects. Simply log onto the website and follow the directions listed. When you play, they donate rice to help end world hunger.
