For more than a quarter of a century she shared the hardships of and itinerant preachers wife, going joyfully to every appointment, and doing all in her power to further the kingdom of God.
She was a good woman, and her gentle winsome way won her friends wherever she went. To know her was to love her. She was an affectionate mother and her solicitude for her children's welfare, especially their eternal interests was a marked characteristic of this noble womans life. "She hath done what she could." (Mark 14:8) "She rests from her labors and her works follow her." (Rev. 14:13)
