3.2.2.1Entering Global Parameters (additional details)

In this activity, you can make various global specifications for the company code. In addition, you can look at the most important specifications of the company code at any time in the overview. This includes, among other things, the chart of accounts and the fiscal year variant.

1. 
   Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
   

   Transaction code	SPRO
   IMG menu	Financial Accounting(New) ® Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) ® Global Parameters for Company Code ® Enter Global Parameters

2. 
   On the Change View Company Code Global Data: Overview screen, choose Copmany Code 1000 and make the following entries:
   

   Field name	Description	User action and values	Comment

   VAT Registration No.
   Field status variant		0010
   Pstng period variant		0010

   On the Change View Company Code Global Data: Details screen, choose Additional Data and make the following entries:

3.2.2.2.1Defining Foreign VAT Registration Numbers

Use

In this activity, you define the VAT registration number, which you received in another EC member state for every company code, which has its headquarter in an EC country and maintains business transactions with other EC member states.
