Duties: The Senior Project Officer is accountable to the Regional Coordinator. S/he will report to the Regional Coordinator in regards to the coordination and delivery of projects/programs and quality assurance including recording statistics and preparing reports as required. The Senior Project role will provide support on the RAHU Staff on day to day administration and coordination of projects/programs. The senior Project Officer will liaise with the Regional Aboriginal Health Unit Staff and the Aboriginal Community in relation to the development and implementation of primary health care projects/programs from that site. The Senior Project Officer will also assist the Regional Coordinator to plan services based on the communities health needs and evaluate them. The Senior Project Officer will assist the Regional Coordinator in developing relevant partnerships within ACCHS sites and other agencies to support and extend services for the Aboriginal community.




Special Conditions: Some out of hours work may be required. A current driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential. Required to work from any location within the Adelaide Central Community Health Service as directed. Required to work within the policies and procedures of ACCHS and the DHS

Duties: Responsible for the facilitation of increased access to services that enhance the health status of young people aged between 12 and 25 years living in the Mid North Region. Utilising the principles of Primary Health Care and Health Promotion, the incumbent plays a key role in the development of structures, policies and practices that contribute to enhanced health and well being for young people.




Special Conditions: Employment is subject to a satisfactory offender history check.
