Vacancies contained in this section will be filled under the provisions of the South Australian Health Commission Act, 1976 and in the case of IMVS positions the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science Act, 1982. In addition to South Australian Health Commission Act employees, applications received from persons employed by the organisations contained on pages 1 and 2 of the Notice will also be accepted for vacancies listed in this section. Applicants are encouraged to obtain further details of the position and conditions of the vacancy from the contact officer nominated in the advertisement. Applicants should relate their application to the Person Specification for the position and include a Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume to maximise their chances of being considered further by a Selection Panel.



GRIEVANCE PROVISIONS

If you believe that your application for promotion has received unfair treatment relating to the selection process, you may have the right to seek a review of the decision. The right of review ONLY applies to employees under the South Australian Health Commission Act and employees under the Public Sector Management Act who were seconded to the SA Health Commission prior to 1st September, 1987. This Grievance Procedure is explained in more detail in Part 3-1 of the SAHC Act Human Resources Manual. Initial enquiries should be directed to the Chairperson of the Selection Panel.

Duties: The Administration Officer will be responsible to the AS02 Administration Officer for the provision of efficient clerical services. Duties: The incumbent provides a transcription service for radiological reports from a central dictation system using a PC based word processor. The incumbent is also responsible for the provision of an effective and efficient reception, registration and appointment service to the Medical Imaging Department.




Special Conditions: Hours of duty are 75 per fortnight. Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday duties are required on a rostered basis. The hours of service may be varied according to the needs of the unit. Recreation/sick leave relief is provided from within the existing administrative establishment by mutual agreement. May be required to travel between The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Health Services and Lyell McEwin Health Service when there are common inter departmental issues to be discussed. A performance appraisal will be conducted annually. Lyell McEwin Health Service is a smoke free environment.
