DISCIPLINARY APPEALS TRIBUNAL

Pursuant to Clause 3(1)(b) of Schedule 3 of the Public Sector Management Act 1995, the under-mentioned recognised organisations have nominated the following employees to constitute the panel of nominees from which appellants will be required to select one member of the Tribunal for the purpose of hearing their appeal.

As required by Clause 4(1)(c)(i) of Schedule 3 of the Public Sector Management Act 1995, an employee appealing against a finding of a disciplinary authority, or disciplinary action that a disciplinary authority proposes to take or recommend, must select one employee from this panel to sit as a member of the Disciplinary Appeals Tribunal to hear the appeal.


NOTE: An appellant is required to choose one employee from the above panel of nominees and to notify that nomination to the Tribunal Secretary. It is inappropriate for the appellant to approach the nominated panelist either before or after the hearing of an appeal.
It is the Tribunal Secretary’s responsibility to liaise with the nominated panelist and make the appropriate and necessary arrangements for the appeal hearing.

As required by Schedule 3, Clause 4(1)(c)(i) of the Public Sector Management Act 1995, an employee:-



. appealing against a nomination for appointment to a vacant position;

or

. applying for a review of an administrative act where the employee is aggrieved and directly affected by that act

must select one employee from this panel to sit as a member of the Promotion and Grievance Appeals Tribunal to hear the appeal.
NOTE: An appellant is required to choose one employee from the above panel of nominees and to notify that nomination to the Tribunal Secretary. It is inappropriate for the appellant to approach the nominated panelist either before or after the hearing of an appeal.
It is the Tribunal Secretary’s responsibility to liaise with the nominated panelist and make the appropriate and necessary arrangements for the appeal hearing.
