Cancellation: If you cancel your service during the minimum term, there are no plan cancellation fees. You will simply need to pay out the full remaining cost of your tablet, which will include any monthly device credit that Optus was going to cover. You will also need to pay the pro-rated monthly access fee for your final month and any charges incurred up until the cancellation date. This could include usage that is excluded from your plan or excess fees if you’ve used more than the included values.

Pricing plans available to eligible Optus employees only

My Wireless Staff pricing plans
1. The following pricing plan is available on or after 9 July 2009 to permanent full time and block time Optus employees on a minimum 1 year contract who are employed by Optus Administration Pty Ltd (Optus Admin) and satisfy either one of the following:
  1. who would be eligible for the Optus ‘yes’ Advantage Broadband staff plan but do not reside in the serviceable area for that product; or
  2. currently have any active Optus Mobile Broadband service with our approval which account is in the name of that Optus Admin employee.

The pricing plan is available on the terms set out in this Agreement, including the following special terms:
1. Additional charges such as excess usage are payable by the Optus Admin employee.
2. A maximum of one (1) service per eligible employee is available on the My Wireless Staff plan.
3. All applications for the My Wireless Staff plan are subject to Optus credit assessment and acceptance.
4. When considering whether to approve your application to transfer from an existing agreement we will take into account your credit history on your existing agreement and undertake our standard credit check for the My Wireless Staff Plan you wish to connect to.
5. Optus reserves the right to deduct any outstanding account incurred from excess data usage from an Optus Admin Employee’s salary if the employee’s account incurred charges becomes more than two months overdue.
6. On termination of employment with Optus Admin, you will no longer be eligible for the My Wireless Staff Plan. Terminated Optus Admin employees on the My Wireless Staff Plan can select any Optus Mobile Broadband plan available to the general public or allow Optus to automatically select the lowest plan available to the general public at the time of the employment termination notice.
7. A permanent full time or block time Optus Admin employee must not resell, share, or otherwise distribute this service and / or its associated hardware (e.g. mobile broadband modem) to a third party. If you are found to have misused the service and/or its associated hardware, Optus may recover from you any cost associated with providing you the service in addition to any other related costs (e.g. cost of investigating the misuse and compensation we are required to pay to another user as a result of your misuse).

  1. The following Business Mobile Broadband (BMB) plans are available if you are an eligible small or medium business customer and you connect to the service between 1 September 2011 and 1^st May 2012:

The Business Mobile Broadband Offer allows you to use your Business Mobile Broadband service(s) and Optus Mobile Digital Service(s) if applicable where you;
1. are a new small or medium business customer;
2. connect your service(s) on eligible plans;
3. receive subscription charges on a monthly single bill and;
4. each service is connected in the same account name, address and ABN/ACN/ABRN.
Your monthly included data value is shared between any of your active Business Mobile Broadband Services(s) and eligible Optus Mobile Digital service(s) that are on the same account and bill. See Table 5.0 for eligible plans.
Any data value which is eligible for sharing is calculated by the dollar value, rather than any MB/GB included value.
Any unused portion of the monthly included data value which is eligible to share expires at the end of each month. This means that it does not roll over into following month.
For technical and commercial reasons not all eligible customers will be able to connect to the Optus Business Mobile Broadband service on the same customer account number as your Optus Mobile Digital Service, in which case data sharing between Optus Business Mobile Broadband and Optus Mobile Digital Services will not be available to you.
The included data of the Business Mobile Broadband plans can only be used within Australia.
